I worked in contract mining after college for about 2 years. I was making $22/hr + OT + per diem and pulled in about $145k +/- $5k each year. It was worth it to be able to buy a house, my college was already paid by zog, but the people are like the most trash people you can imagine. They’re moronic af.

Those numbers are completely incorrect. That is calculated only using base pay flat. Everyone who workers in the oil fields work 12s for 10-14 day stretches. All the money is made on the overtime. Dont reply cause you have no idea what youre talking about.
