      One can dream

      really depends on your area

      NYC

good martial arts generally aren't cheap. bjj/muay thai and boxing/wrestling are all good

I'm thinking anything less than $120 a month, I tried a kickboxing gym near me but they charged like $30 per class

How tall are you? Below 5’10 just have a nice day

      Above 5'10"

      Aikido

      Sounds like a meme

      Sumo wrestling

      I am not fat

probably what you want is an MMA gym, they'll usually teach BJJ plus muay thai/kickboxing

Boxing is the most widely practiced and typically the cheapest. Kickboxing is another option. BJJ is a close third.
In NYC you're kinda fricked tho. Most gyms are ungodly expensive to pander to finance bros. If you want to box in NYC you have to find a cheap little dinky gym in Brooklyn or Queens. And I mean FIND one. They don't advertise, you have to have an in.

I train at an MMA gym, has BJJ, Boxing, Mauy Thai and occasionally wrestling plus pro sparring if you've invited. Its about 120 CAD a month.

Get a heavy bag (doesn't have to be a professional one) and just practice hitting it as hard as possible. Real fights just need one good hit.

If you're overweight, balding, a manlet, or any of the above, judo.
    pros:
    >cheap
    >you throw people
    >considered more gentle despite the fact you're slamming a b***h on the concrete
    >if you're fat you're harder to throw
    >if you're a manlet your center of gravity is lower and thus can throw people easier

    cons:
    >most dojos will make you learn it under olympic rules, no leg grabbing etc
    >piss-poor ground game
    >severe learning curve for beginners
    >grappling martial arts can cause muscular strains and tears much easier than striking arts
