the thing i that the most about all these protein bars is they inflate the protein with plant based proteins, which almost always end up being onions. also they have bad protein ratios, a good protein bar should have atleast 1 gram per 10 calories.
Wait there are protein bars out there with less than 1g per 10cal? Mine are 21g in 180 cal. They're delicious and even then I feel it's on the low side.
>Mom: Anon I bought some new protein bars for you!
They have 4g of protein for 220 calories
>Th-thanks Mom...
They are all shit, that's it. Eat yoghurt or quark, they keep you full. Protein bars are just goyslop.
meat in bar shape
I do the MetRx bars mostly. The best taste, and cheapest price. For some reason these frickers think they can charge $4.00 for one bar with 20g protein. I buy MetRx for $3.00 per bar and they come with 30g protein.
Quark costs 1,40€ and it comes with 60g of animal protein. Protein bars are often filled with plant based protein, which fricks up your metabolism and gut.
Then why do vegans live longer
They don't.
>Then why do vegans live longer
They have to supplement B vitamins. Doesn't sound healthy to me.
Not relevant to my statement. Answer the question
About a decade, they do
>group adopts a diet that allows 7-10 years more of life, with lower rates of disease
>"doesnt seem healthy"
>comparing people who look out for everything they put in their body compared to the average fatfrick American eating McDonald's, chips, soda etc
Gee, i wonder why, moron. None of these israelite studies compare vegans to people who actually give a shit about their health, only to the average pathetic lardass sedentary degenerates of the general population.
Why dont meat eaters care about their health?
There are plenty. But you moronic vegan homosexuals just include them with the general population of obese losers to frick with the numbers, which was exactly my point, and your brain has rotted too much to comprehend that.
I'm not vegan it was just a question, which you didnt answer and then just ranted about
It was a bullshit question that was very clearly answered if you though about it longer than two seconds
You sound unhappy man, chili out
I could go for some chili
You're bunching everyone who ever eats meat into a single category which is incredibly dishonest. If I did the same with anyone who eats potatoes and included them in "vegan food eaters" it would be just as idiotic. There are more diets than just vegan and "meat eater", but only for "meat eaters" do you bunch the worst possible together.
You literally just called me a vegan so maybe you should take your own advice. I'm making a generalization based on what you said, that vegans care about lifestyle which is what results in the statistics that they live longer. I asked why meat eaters dont care about lifestyle, which is implied by your statement, and now you are being combative trying to backtrack
My very first post
was pointing out these bullshit studies compare vegans to everyone else and not people who do care while that also eat meat you massive moron. Where is the backtracking? The average person doesn't give a shit about health and just happens to also eat meat just as they happen to eat food that could be considered vegan. There are more health conscious people who eat meat than there are vegans, but you dump them in with everyone else, yet don't do the same with vegans. Which was always my fricking point. From that very first post. You're comparing an exclusive diet to an inclusive one as if it's any fair to make such a stupid fricking generalisation. I also called you a vegan because i thought there's no way someone who isn't would make such a brain dead argument.
Your post wasn't correct. I didnt read the rest.
I understand your reading comprehension and IQ is low. I'm sorry for posting so many words, must've been stressful seeing that.
>ad hom
>ad hom
>pivot
>ad hom again
I accept your consession
>misinterprets original argument
>sees post referring back to original comment
>realizes you fricked up
>backtrack
>no longer has an argument and relies on the everything is a fallacy fallacy
His point was that your Original statement was false. You are just trying to avoid addressing that
Why would i when it's not? If it was false then there'd be no issue posting a study comparing vegans to meat eaters that care about health. Every single one compares them to the general population which is compromised of fatfricks.
Literally the seventh day adventist study does literally that.
Nice deflection gay
Asking why meat eaters dont care about their lifestyle (since thats what you implied contributes to vegans longer and healthier lives) is a stupid question?
The question can't be answered because it implies that even meat eaters who care about their health dont tip the statistics so that vegans dont show Ana advantage even though statistically there are way more meat eaters that practice what vegans do sans the actual veganism - it proves that its not the lifestyle
Ntayrt but I think the healthiest lifestyle for nonlifters/nonathletes is something similar to what Seventh Day Adventist schizos do, light exercise + mostly vegetarian diet with occasional meat
Well they do have better health and longevity
>Quark costs 1,40€ and it comes with 60g of animal protein
Bullshit. Sounds like you don't understand serving sizes moron.
Quark:
12g Protein / 100g
1.40€ / 500g
Ez good protein, add some berries and it even tastes good
Those aren't protein bars.
>400 calories
Shiggy
Ahem.. I think that they are garbage
>Verification not required.
Protein bars are a waste
kys moxyte
is protein bar a meme? feels like it's full of sugar and other chemical mostly
Not full of sugar but full of filler and more calorie than you want for protein
>eating "protein" bars
>not eating "protein" bars
The only worthwhile protein bars are the Gatorade ones because they use whey protein instead of soi. Even then they're more of a candy bar substitute.
>protein bar
>has double the amount of carbs than it does protein
Why must they do this
The lemon cake "think!" bars are pretty tight IMO. Alternatively just buy random bars from bulk sites that are about to expire. As long as the macros are good I just buy random ones all the time. You start to notice they really all taste the same anyways.
quest is the only kbe i bother with if i bother at all
I like these. Imo if you want pure protein drink a shake. I like these when I'm out shooting/hiking and don't have time for a full meal. I'd rather have a good amount of fat than pure protein.
They all have sneed oils
/fit/crunch is pretty tasty but has only 16g for 200 kcal, so pretty shit for a cut. Still worth it though
They're all shit but if I'd have to pick
>barebells or fulfil
i tried all of my localy available protein bars and these are the best but also the most expensive (2,79€).
>eating a candy bar with ‘protein’ on the label
NGMI lmao
I love protein bars and I have tried like all of them. Even today I like to buy a few different brands since I like the variety.
I think the ONE bars are the best. They use whey protein and seem the most wholesome.
Honorable mention:
- The peanut butter think! bars like in your image are good. They are fluffy and a little marshmellow-y. Very artificial but whatever, still tasty.
- The Chocolate Mint builders protein a bar is probably the most well rounded bar. Can't go wrong with it, although I feel like they changed the recipe recently because it doesn't taste as good as it used to.
- Zone Perfect peanut butter bars. These ones advertise that they have a lot of vitamins so sometimes I eat this as like as like a replacement for a multivitamin.
- MetRX chocolate chip cookie dough. Very tasty and also the one with the most protein I have ever had
Worst one I have ever had was a gatorade bar I had a while back, but maybe they changed the recipe since then.
>MetRX
Not protein bars
I really love the ones from aldi. They have 22,5g of protein, 0g sugar and only 4,9g of fat per bar. The best part is they actually taste good (peanut-butter and stracciatella are the best) and only cost 2,5€ for 3x bars which is quite good considering the taste and stats. they pretty much replaced whey as my breakfast/snack.
these are usually cheap as frick too, super good protein/price ratio. my favourite is the yogurt flavoured one, but that's only because the local Lidl has 4 of them (chocolate, strawberry, cookie dough and yogurt/vanilla 🙁 )
they usually place additional flavoured ones that you cant find in their 3x pack at the check out. they are pretty much priced the same, dunno why they do it. wish we had strawberry but atleast they replaced the disgusting cookie dough one with peanut-butter so cant complain.
>candy bars with extra protein
No thanks, I only eat food
There was this one protein bar that is now discontinued called Oatmega.
It was the GOAT of all protein bars, mainly because it had primarily natural ingredients, and actually tasted really good. Nothing I have found compares to it.
