          >slowly
where the frick did I say that, you little b***h? if you're training to be explosive, it's implied that the training would be explosive. so do the reps explosively and shut the frick up, moron.

being able to to pullups and dips with additional weight will make your unweighted movements much more explosive

powershitters are right to a point when they say maximal strength is primary to other attributes

Don't even worry about explosiveness during training. People who say this are moronic. Just build up strength in the needed muscle groups. Also ignore the functional training people. Their shit is ineffective as exercise.

Do slow controlled reps to avoid injury in spite of what any moron says here. There is no reason to do fast reps other than a first class ticket to snap city. Explosiveness comes purely from strong muscles. Consider if you can only press 100 lbs for bench press in one rep. You can't do it very well and it takes a while to generate the strength to get the bar all the way up. If you only use 50 lbs instead at that point, you'll be able to move that weight around really easily. When you build up to a 200 lb bench, doubling your strength, and then try to go back to the 100lb bench which you formerly could barely do. Now you're be able to move around that 100lb bar extremely easily and you can hand it like it's nothing. That's how explosiveness works.

I got a very similar question
    >How do I train for explosiveness and endurance?

To be more specific, how do I train my legs for explosiveness and endurance with calisthenics?
Hill sprints and box jumps? What do I track for progression?

Get adjustable dumbbells and do bulgarian split squats with slow eccentric fast concentric phase.

Sparring full intensity is just asking for brain damage. If you sparr explosively, you aren't sparring, you are fighting.
