I don’t know, a better question is why should I choose coffee over green tea or Yerba mate which is also caffienated
Milk and sugar will make coffee bad for you
And drinking coffe black will stain your teath
So, the real question is, caffeine pills are the GOAT? Or no
Unless the coffee bean has some properties that make it good beyond caffeine

personally I think if you're already addicted to it to just limit it to 1 cup of coffee or 200mg max a day.

if you're not addicted to it I would say to just try to live without it.

If I try to quit I get migraines.

I was in a hurry this morning, so I just poured my coffee straight into my muesli for breakfast.

I get the migraines too, but you can avoid them if you wean yourself off instead of going cold turkey.

it's IST, there is no consensus on anything. Half of the motherfrickers here are contrarian for the sake of it, and everyone is moronic, including me.

sorry to be that contrarian, but contrarianism happens to be true, and coffee must be bad because of how culturally normal it is. also contains flouride and hot drinks in general make men into weak b***hes. just look at white mormons and how tall they are

Coffee is nonsense. Caffeine itself is mostly positive. It has a tremendous amount of cognitive benefits that are well studied and are easily subjectively felt. Excessive consumption can lead to hypertension, but the correlation is dubious. Caffeine also decreases blood flow to the brain, but brain health/performance isn't linearly linked to blood flow so that's not inherently a bad thing, bus something to keep in mind. It can also frick with your sleep but that's easily rectified by timing and using a reasonable dosage.
You basically get tons of benefits with virtually no downside as long as you keep your intake somewhat limited. 200mg of caffeine (in coffee, or pill form, whatever) couple times a week when you need it is basically free brain power with no downsides.
