The way to tell is to look at the clothes they recommend. It's all $300 sweater Brad Pitt core, by which you can infer that the average reader is a guy who can afford $150 sweaters and was born in the mid 70's

I remember being a teen and reading these cause the internet wasn't that good back then unless you knew where to look.

I think its just gay men and rich people who lounge on the patio and want to stay on top of the latest luxury core happenings.

Don't know why a single person would purchase this shit these days. Even before the internet exploded this mag was the same 10 "articles" being recycled month after month. "5 steps to ripped abs", "get huge arms with this 15 minute workout", blah blah blah

I used to buy this magazine until I realized how stupid it was.

    “3 weeks to ripped abs!”
    >mountain climbers and planks

    “Get Arnold’s arms!”
    >have you heard of the DuMbElL cUrL?!?!?

“5 things women want in bed!”
    >don’t be scared to go down on her!

    “Wine is the new superfood!”
    >you’d have to drink 11 gallons per day to get any benefit at all

    “Fall must haves”
    >bright orange $800 turtleneck by freethepeople or some shit…

Oh and don’t forget the cover is heavily photoshopped, not just “retouched”

like 10-15 years ago magazines like this would basically be given away because they wanted the advertisements to be delivered
they'd have a "retail value" of some $/year, cant remember how much. some men might actually subscribe to them at retail value. i guess the demographic was relatively well-off boomers
but really I think most 'subscribers' got the $0.01 for a year deal and then even if you canceled it they would keep sending them for free
    it's just ads
