What's the heaviest I can get at 5'7? Could I make it in UFC heavyweight division at 5'7?

What's the heaviest I can get at 5'7? Could I make it in UFC heavyweight division at 5'7? I have this need to beat everyone but my size advantage might hurt me. I think I'm small but I still have a shot.

I miss the pre-weight cutting era when manlets dared to fight above lightweight. Now if you're under 5'11', forget it, you'll get lit up by Chads.

You could probably still get away with it in heavyweight, the talent pool is more like a puddle.

Advantaged in his ability to not hit his head against (most) tree branches when running at full speed.

              >Post body to prove me wrong
kind of irrelevant as long as he at least looks close to Daniel Cormier and has the skills to back up the talk

damn, wish I was young like that. I'm 26 and I have not even enrolled in a fighting club so it's literally over for me before it even started.

Around middle or welter weight, higher than that and you are fighting actual giants at like 6'2 and above

I want to be the Gordon Ryan of heavyweight. They're jiu jitsu is so terrible that even though I'm short I would dominate because of my muscle and my jiu jitsu experience.

Thank you I've actually thought hard about it. Even the pros suck at defense for leg lock imagine what the amateur scene is like bunch of moronic brawlers if you practice leg locks for a year I bet you would win 99% of amateur fights

You have it backwards. In combat sports you want to maximize your frame size. YES you can beat a taller more rangey fighter, but that's the exception and not the rule.

So basically unless you have the size to fight heavyweight, you want to fight at the lightest weight class you can cut down to and maintain enough muscle to win.

You'd be a blob basically but you could use your lower center of gravity to your advantage.

The scariest thing about this video is that in higher quality the fat dwarf manhandling bambi has an absolute stunner of a face.

hard to say because you want to stay lean enough to be able to move around and not tire yourself out. yes there are 200 lb bodybuilders at your height but they probably have too much mass (at their size) to do well in the octagon, at least against a much taller opponent

I don't think it's physically possible for you to beat any given heavyweight to be honest
If you did it would be legendary though
