Whats The Point Of?

Humans are a comparatively weak and frail species compared to most other animals on this Earth. The thing that allowed humans to become so successful and dominant was not their brute strength, but rather their unparalleled intelligence, sentience and ability to form and maintain complex social bonds and group behaviors. An adult gorilla that has never set foot in a gym is still roughly 27x stronger than the strongest human powerlifter ever to have existed.

Should not we be focusing on honing our intellect, our brains? Would not this make us more superior and apex?

It could literally pulverize your skull yto dust with a single punch. It could tears your limbs off as easily as you could a fly’s. Its biteforce is like 2x stronger than a lion’s.

Just do what you can, man. It’s that simple. Not every day is going to be perfect, but just do something that will make the future you better.

    >Humans are a comparatively weak and frail species compared to most other animals on this Earth.
This is incorrect. Most animal species on this planet are much smaller than us. Even if we restrict ourselves to mammals, of the over 6,000 extant species of mammals, only a handful are larger than us. Most of them are things like bats, rodents, shrews, foxes, weasels, and goats - perfectly admirable animals in their own right, but not particularly threatening to an adult human.
    >But muh gorilla!
Yes, we are not the single strongest animal, but neither is the gorilla. We are still in the top 5% of strongest mammal species, easily, and in the top 1% of all animal species. We are, in fact, exceptional in our size and strength, considered objectively.
    >Should not we be focusing on honing our intellect, our brains?
Clearly you should, yes, since you were so easily distractible by the existence of a handful of large, charismatic animals that you didn't even stop and think to do a basic check about your claims.

otherwise yes -- you're supposed to integrate as part of civilization, maybe even participate in building it
