whats ur resting heartrate fit? Do you think a high or low one is optimal

whats ur resting heartrate fit?

Do you think a high or low one is optimal

I believe a high temp, and a lower heart rate (currently 45 w/o any excercise) is true sign of higher health and quality of life experience.

is concerning and confusing tho, carnitards will say the lower the heart rate the better, but they view metabolic health as bad, peatards want high temp, high metabolism, and high bpm

kek'd, I dont have a high tolerance to caffeine and had too many espresso shots, so far some peatlife is fun

A low resting heart rate is a sign of a healthy, active heart. It’s a muscle, and if it can pump strong, your cardiac output increases and your resting heart rate decreases

yes its strong, continuous whereas I always rembered my heart was quick and fluttering years before

Yes. Hence why I said "could be nothing". Also, OP by his own admission doesn't exercise.

this is what I wont agree on, I dont view metabolism strictly attached to heart rate. I think in your heart only has so many beats theory.

Afaik the heartbeat theory is as credible as the rate of living theory, that is, both are junk science, a steady high heart rate throughout the day is a sign of good health, a spike and crash in heart rate isn't. That being said, 45 bpm is stupid low, you might want to get a check

I work in a warehouse and easily walk 8-10 miles a day and I lift. I’m lean and muscular at 5’11 and 165lbs. My rhr is 72 and my heart rate variability is typically below 50. Is there something wrong with me? Also when I check my heart rate at any given moment at work it’s typically above 100
