I haven't gone a week without cleansing for a while now. The moisturizer is more important in my experience. When you moisturize your face regularly for two weeks your skin builds up a healthy moisture barrier that dramatically reduces pimples and sebum build up and all your blemishes greatly reduce. The cleanser just ensures everything slaws off properly at the end of the day.

face wash, hydroquinone, moisturizer, sunscreen, and soon i will add more collagen to my diet. i am 26 and i look 21; i hear this from women all the time, it's pretty easy to accomplish.
Bullshit, I've had dark circles under my eyes my whole life, it's just genetics around that area.
I've also used minoxidil for 1 year and it gave me a good beard, didn't affect my skin at all, except the beard area where the follicles grew but that's just what happens when you have a beard. The beard itself will cover it.
Melatonin, Nutrafol, extra long sleep days if I miss hours the day before, careful in the sun, and having my whole mother’s side experiencing little to no hair loss and graceful aging kek.
If you've already fricked up your skin with prior sun exposure, using a dermapen once every 4 weeks does wonders for reversing some of the damage. After doing it like 8-10 times you will see drastic changes to the skins texture and removal of wrinkles.
It only costs like $50 or $100 for a dermapen on amazon. Dont be one of the dumbasses who go to derma clinics and pay $200 for each treatment
Easily one of the most (and few) useful things I learned from here.
My face is left with pink/red marks from when I was a teen, don't know how to fix
Dermapen can help with that. I had some pretty terrible purple marks on my ass (kek) from wearing cotton underwear while working out and getting boils but after dermapenning for a while it got a lot better
It's very good at getting rid of scars, yes. You can adjust the depth when you use it. Just look up charts on google or tutorial videos on youtube to see what kind of depth for which area and for what purpose. To get rid of scars I think a 36 or 45 needle head at maximum depth works best but look it up to be sure.
Use max once a month. Your skin needs time to heal and rebuild
It’s not as effective on icepick type acne scars but is pretty effective on other types like rolling scars. Had a few ice pick scars on my cheek and while dermapenning improved them I’d have to call the improvement fair rather than good. Had a pretty big sebaceous cyst on my cheek though that left a depressed area and dermapenning really helped fix it. Also had a scar on the head where I got hit with a tire iron (kek) and I think dermapenning did help hair grow there but I’m not positive because I didn’t pay a lot of attention since it gets covered up when my hair is longer anyway.
agreed, the Pescatarian diet is #1 thing for anti aging
circadian rhythm alignment for sleep
retinol under eyes (all other moisture/clean etc is does nothing)
supplements: NMN, spermidine/fisetin, pterostilbene/resveratol
I'm 25 but I look 18 clean shaven, my voice isn't particularly deep either. I don't get a lot of shit for it but I'd prefer look my age. Just waiting for my facial hair to grow in without patches
I just look closely at myself in the mirror each day.
Think about it; you'll never see a wrinkle or a grey hair appear literally overnight - so if you look at yourself closely every day and remember what you look like you'll never give yourself a chance to age visually.
If you don't look at yourself closely for a few weeks that's what gives the chance for wrinkles and so on to appear.
Please refute this (you can't)).
I do the following >Cardio >Minimize processed foods >Eat fruits and veggies >Sleep atleast 8.5 hours a night, aiming for 9
I will do the following in time: >Add a face/skin routine
When im past my strongman and powerlifting prime ill have low caloric intake and low protein intake to increase autophagy
>everyone on fit dresses completely covered head to toe whenever they go outside to avoid any inch of their skin being exposed to sun
you are all so fricking autistic.
Ok so I always wondered this, shouldn’t you only be protecting your face and neck from the sun? Cuz who gives a frick if ur back or arms are a little tan and wrinkled, or does it spread or some shit
avoid PUFA
eat collagen
eat saturated fat
Those are probably the most important dietary things.
The structural components of your body are formed from Fat and Protein.
PUFAs are inflammatory unstable fats, and so avoiding them limits this cause of aging.
Sulphur amino acids (methionine, cysteine) are inflammatory and unstable, and accumulate with age. Consuming collagen (which is abundant in glycine) helps the liver to excrete excess methionine, and so reduces chronic inflammation. Another strategy is eating some canned beans a few times a week, as legumes are deficient in cysteine. Methionine reduction is one of the biggest strategies for anti-aging. However going full methionine restriction will age you like a vegan, so it's more about balance. Neither too much nor too little is best.
Buy collagen powder supplement is the easiest way.
If you live near Asian supermarket, you can find some pig ears or chicken feet, but IMO it takes too much time and is messy. Collagen powder is much more convenient
Is 25 too late to reverse some aging damage?
Not really bad, but mild.
Never drank or smoked, workouts have been on and off.
Diet bit better than average, bit of stress.
Good aging genes tho.
Normally you cannot reverse aging, only keep things from getting worse but 25 is young enough that you might see significant improvement if you just moisturize and use sunscreen.
Reversing aging is basically the same as asking "is immortality possible"?
Well, yes it is possible in limited amounts.
For example the skin on my hands used to be more cracked and now it is smooth like a baby's skin, after following Ray Peat diet - mainly saturated fat and collagen are the most important things for skin health.
My friends hands are still all cracked though.
i have some bone broth powder i've been putting into my shakes. not sure if it's doing anything. is powder fine or do I need actual bones?
actual bones would be a lot more work. i'm getting deeper into my career and have less and less time now.
on that note, I also get this fruit powder from a company called kencko rather than putting actual fruit in my shakes. is that also fine? i'm willing to pay for expensive stuff (moderately expensive, at least)
honestly, just don't drink, don't smoke, maintain an healthy weight, wear contacts instead of glasses, don't have receding hairline and/or grey hair and that's it.
the only reason jared leto and tom cruise don't look old despite them being old is because they're not fat, they dye their grey hair and don't have male pattern baldness.
Johnny depp was one of those 'they do not age !' guys, before alcohol bloatmaxxing.
Going to start taking collagen and seeing if that helps my forehead wrinkle die down some.
My skin care and diet has been shit most of my life but I’ve worked nights for since high school and I’m now mid 30s, I honestly think the lack of sun exposure is why every girl I go on a date with thinks I’m 25max. I look at my coworkers and friends around my age and can definitely see they look more 40s than 30s and it’s concerning, I feel even guys in their 20s be lookin old a lot these days.
Tret has been studied since the 70s and is known as being the absolute king for anti aging. I know that you're kind of moronic, but I think you're more than capable of doing a some google searchers.
This is the dumbest girliest thread I've ever seen. I bet none of you even look good. No amount of products is going to fix your soul and make you beautiful.
anti-aging isn't just looking like the plump tip of a penis your whole life, it's how long you live
everything not on this list is placebo cope:
DO: >eat plenty of animal protein, especially tripe, fat, tendon, and connective tissue for good collagen >have 3-4 glasses of quality red wine (bordeaux, chianti, rioja, etc) per week >eat lots of non-portabella variant mushrooms >season literally every meal with fresh garlic >eat all three types of fermented foods: lactic acid (yogurts), acetic acid (kimchi/sauerkraut), alcohol (beers, breads) >1-2 times per week eat a fatty fish like black cod, salmon, or mackerel >if your skin is dry in the winter, moisturize skin with a light application of castor oil >if your hair is dry in the winter, moisturize with a light application of jojoba oil before sleep and wrap in a silk towel. Shower when you wake up and wash it out >if you have dandruff, buy some zinc pyrithione powder, mix it with baking soda and water, and leave this paste on your scalp for 5-10 min in the shower, then wash it out >make your own soap with lye, coffee grounds, orange peel, castor oil >stay awake as long as you need, sleep when you need
DONT: >eat refined cereals like bleached flour >eat refined sugar, this includes "sugar in the raw" which is just white sugar with molasses added >apply a bunch of stupid shit to your skin like "moisturizers" which are just surfactants, alcohol, and aloe >apply a "cleanser." if your skin looks like shit, it's most likely because you're behaving like a moron and not sleeping or washing >wash your hair more than once a week, if at all. You simply don't need to. It doesn't get dirty. If you sweat while you work out, wash off when you're done. every component of sweat is water-soluble and will wash out if you rinse >drink tap water >get in bed before you're going to sleep >use any screen in bed
>>have 3-4 glasses of quality red wine (bordeaux, chianti, rioja, etc) per week
I've never gotten into alcohol. Can I have more details?
>season literally every meal with fresh garlic
I'm not into cooking. Should I just buy a clove of garlic and grind some on top of a meal? Is there powdered garlic to make this easier?
>make your own soap with lye, coffee grounds, orange peel, castor oil
Surely a soap like this already exists, right? Is there a brand I should look for? I assume this is body soap and not hand soap (also is there a meaningul difference?)
>don't apply a bunch of stupid shit to your skin like "moisturizers" which are just surfactants, alcohol, and aloe
Does this mean I should NOT put lotion on my face like everyone else is suggesting?
>don't wash your hair more than once a week, if at all. You simply don't need to. It doesn't get dirty. If you sweat while you work out, wash off when you're done. every component of sweat is water-soluble and will wash out if you rinse
Are you sure about this? I have short hair, but one way I gauge how 'messy' or 'greasy' my hair is is to look at the headband of my headphones when I take them off. It's relatively clean only after a shower where I use shampoo. Otherwise, it's a bit greasy and I wipe it off when I see it. Also, wouldn't this imply you don't need to really launder your sweaty clothes, you can just dunk them in water and dry them?
just asking these out of pure ignorance. thanks for the info.
>alcohol
red wines, esp high quality european, portugese, and chilean reds are very high in anthocyanins which are antioxidants
alcohol is actually very good for your heart when taken at doses where it exhibits hormesis (i.e. 3-5 drinks per week)
however there are wines that are more bad than good, particularly californias, roses, and champagnes, which are mostly just sugar and alcohol >garlic
I mean honestly you could just swallow a spoonful of grated garlic every day
the point of eating garlic fresh is that it retains most of the beneficial compounds like allicin and alliin, which help regulate blood pressure, clotting, and are overall just great phyochemicals >soap
In general, there's plenty of soaps that are similar to this. Just look for "unscented pure castile soap," it's everywhere
the main purpose of soap is that it's a surfactant, which means the only two components you need are a vehicle and a surfactant, usually lye or sodium carbonate and tallow, wax, or olive oil >skin products
yes you should avoid doing that. Your skin is just a layer of dead skin cells. dumping products that have "enzymes" or "collagen" on your face does nothing to those cells because they're dead, it's just layers of keratin. The best things you can do for your face are:
1. keep healthy skin flora
which is sometimes difficult but as long as you're not touching your ass then your face should be OK naturally
2. prevent skin from being inflamed by avoiding putting a bunch of shit on it and getting rid of dead skin
which is easy because you just have to avoid putting shit on your face and periodically rinse your skin to get rid of the skin that's naturally shedding
3. maintain the hyrdophobic barrier that your skin naturally creates
which is hard to do because almost everything has alcohols in it which will defat your skin
this is where the castor oil comes in (cont):

this is where the castor oil comes in (cont):
Castor oil is the most similar oil in composition to human sebum available. Because keratin is hydrophobic, the only way a skin product can exert an effect is either by defatting it using alcohol or by using a hydrophobic carrier. Most skin products use an alcohol.
If you want soft young looking skin, basically the "hydration" you're looking for is to keep the keratin flexible and healthy by ensuring it has enough oil to prevent it from drying out and flaking off. Castor oil does this. >Are you sure about this? I have short hair, but one way I gauge how 'messy' or 'greasy' my hair is is to look at the headband of my headphones when I take them off. Also, wouldn't this imply you don't need to really launder your sweaty clothes, you can just dunk them in water and dry them?
After shampooing for a long time, your hair is going to produce a frickton of oil for about two weeks after being on no-shampoo. This is because like I mentioned above, the shampoo-conditioner cycle basically strips your hair of all oils and then replaces them usually with an alcohol-based conditioning treatment. While you shouldn't shampoo every day, you should shower and rinse with water every day because there is still skin, hair, and other things being shed from your scalp. After about two weeks of no-poo, your hair should consistently look and feel like it was conditioned without having to condition it. Worst case scenario, you absolutely can't take it and shampoo it again.
WRT clothing, you should probably be washing everything that's in close contact with your skin after only one wear. Denim can go longer, but underwear, undershirts, socks, etc aren't multi-use. a minimal amount of detergent should be fine.
If you're getting pit stains, try switching to a magnesium-based antiperspirant. aluminum stains the shit out of clothes
Anti ageing shit breaks my brain especially since it takes months for effects to show up. I'm just gonna go to a dermatologist a number of times and work with his homosexual ass to figure out what works for me.

It's already starting, how do I slow it down?
i have 3 grey hairs on my head and 1 on my pubes
is it over?
Serious question does minoxidil cause aging or is it bullshit?
if you put it on your face it will destroy collagen so dont use it to grow a beard unless you want dark circles under your eyes
Bullshit, I've had dark circles under my eyes my whole life, it's just genetics around that area.
I've also used minoxidil for 1 year and it gave me a good beard, didn't affect my skin at all, except the beard area where the follicles grew but that's just what happens when you have a beard. The beard itself will cover it.
only if you're a moron and leave it on all day
So you put on and wash it off? Isn't supposed to absorb for a while?
Stay fit, no goyslop, charcoal facewash, monitor hair for thinning
>what is fit’s routine
Stay out of the sun
Not being a woman
Dermapen can help with that. I had some pretty terrible purple marks on my ass (kek) from wearing cotton underwear while working out and getting boils but after dermapenning for a while it got a lot better
What is it, anon?
It’s just a micro needling device. It pokes small holes in your skin and your body then repairs them with more normal collagen structure
what should I be looking for in a dermapen? Do I need any topical creams to go with it?
Just get one on Amazon. I use hyulronic acid and a moisturizer after
>hyulronic acid
Red pill us on this
It’s just a good moisturizer and good for your skin after micro needling
I thought it was seperate from a moisturizer
Using it on dry skin can cause a bit of damage.
I use cicaplast gel b5 or hyaluronic acid
is there a difference between dermapen and the dermaroller?
Dermapen is much more effective and easier to use, but they function the same way
Is it good for a bald spot from scar on head and acne scars? How often to use and which size to get?
Also had a scar on the head where I got hit with a tire iron (kek) and I think dermapenning did help hair grow there but I’m not positive because I didn’t pay a lot of attention since it gets covered up when my hair is longer anyway.
bumping important thread
Diet is most important.
agreed, the Pescatarian diet is #1 thing for anti aging
circadian rhythm alignment for sleep
retinol under eyes (all other moisture/clean etc is does nothing)
supplements: NMN, spermidine/fisetin, pterostilbene/resveratol
I use suncream and my face still looks the same as it did when I was in my early 20s.
My face is left with pink/red marks from when I was a teen, don't know how to fix
Brilliant
I do the following
>Cardio
>Minimize processed foods
>Eat fruits and veggies
>Sleep atleast 8.5 hours a night, aiming for 9
I will do the following in time:
>Add a face/skin routine
When im past my strongman and powerlifting prime ill have low caloric intake and low protein intake to increase autophagy
>everyone on fit dresses completely covered head to toe whenever they go outside to avoid any inch of their skin being exposed to sun
you are all so fricking autistic.
Ok so I always wondered this, shouldn’t you only be protecting your face and neck from the sun? Cuz who gives a frick if ur back or arms are a little tan and wrinkled, or does it spread or some shit
I am proudly white trash. I hate soft producty tea sippers who are too busy gayging off to ever breed.
Spite.
You got extremely bad fricking genetics if you need an anti aging routine
avoid PUFA
eat collagen
eat saturated fat
Neither too much nor too little is best.
>eat collagen
How fren?
Buy collagen powder supplement is the easiest way.
If you live near Asian supermarket, you can find some pig ears or chicken feet, but IMO it takes too much time and is messy. Collagen powder is much more convenient
>However going full methionine restriction will age you like a vegan
How often would you recommend eating collagen?
I don't work or don't work hard.
bonebrothmaxxing
Is twice a week enough?
I eat liver 4 times a week
i have some bone broth powder i've been putting into my shakes. not sure if it's doing anything. is powder fine or do I need actual bones?
actual bones would be a lot more work. i'm getting deeper into my career and have less and less time now.
on that note, I also get this fruit powder from a company called kencko rather than putting actual fruit in my shakes. is that also fine? i'm willing to pay for expensive stuff (moderately expensive, at least)
There's only 1 thing that helps -
Stay the frick out of the sun.
honestly, just don't drink, don't smoke, maintain an healthy weight, wear contacts instead of glasses, don't have receding hairline and/or grey hair and that's it.
the only reason jared leto and tom cruise don't look old despite them being old is because they're not fat, they dye their grey hair and don't have male pattern baldness.
Johnny depp was one of those 'they do not age !' guys, before alcohol bloatmaxxing.
>wear contacts instead of glasses
why would this matter?
>night shift
>sunscreen
>lotion
Going to start taking collagen and seeing if that helps my forehead wrinkle die down some.
My skin care and diet has been shit most of my life but I’ve worked nights for since high school and I’m now mid 30s, I honestly think the lack of sun exposure is why every girl I go on a date with thinks I’m 25max. I look at my coworkers and friends around my age and can definitely see they look more 40s than 30s and it’s concerning, I feel even guys in their 20s be lookin old a lot these days.
Tret 0.5 cream. Get asked all the time if I'm 21. currently 27. If you want to look young to get young pussy, then get on this shit NOW!
Retinol is proven to be superior
You dumb Black person, tret is the holy grail of skin care. Tret is much stronger than retinol.
Retinol is proven by science tho, no others are
Tret has been studied since the 70s and is known as being the absolute king for anti aging. I know that you're kind of moronic, but I think you're more than capable of doing a some google searchers.
I've eaten no meat for the last 23 or so years, and I mostly stayed out of the sun except while vacationing.
I look pretty good for 36.
I also recently started using retinol and vitamin c, along with hydrating creams. We'll see how it goes.
This is the dumbest girliest thread I've ever seen. I bet none of you even look good. No amount of products is going to fix your soul and make you beautiful.
projecting
anti-aging isn't just looking like the plump tip of a penis your whole life, it's how long you live
everything not on this list is placebo cope:
DO:
>eat plenty of animal protein, especially tripe, fat, tendon, and connective tissue for good collagen
>have 3-4 glasses of quality red wine (bordeaux, chianti, rioja, etc) per week
>eat lots of non-portabella variant mushrooms
>season literally every meal with fresh garlic
>eat all three types of fermented foods: lactic acid (yogurts), acetic acid (kimchi/sauerkraut), alcohol (beers, breads)
>1-2 times per week eat a fatty fish like black cod, salmon, or mackerel
>if your skin is dry in the winter, moisturize skin with a light application of castor oil
>if your hair is dry in the winter, moisturize with a light application of jojoba oil before sleep and wrap in a silk towel. Shower when you wake up and wash it out
>if you have dandruff, buy some zinc pyrithione powder, mix it with baking soda and water, and leave this paste on your scalp for 5-10 min in the shower, then wash it out
>make your own soap with lye, coffee grounds, orange peel, castor oil
>stay awake as long as you need, sleep when you need
DONT:
>eat refined cereals like bleached flour
>eat refined sugar, this includes "sugar in the raw" which is just white sugar with molasses added
>apply a bunch of stupid shit to your skin like "moisturizers" which are just surfactants, alcohol, and aloe
>apply a "cleanser." if your skin looks like shit, it's most likely because you're behaving like a moron and not sleeping or washing
>wash your hair more than once a week, if at all. You simply don't need to. It doesn't get dirty. If you sweat while you work out, wash off when you're done. every component of sweat is water-soluble and will wash out if you rinse
>drink tap water
>get in bed before you're going to sleep
>use any screen in bed
>>have 3-4 glasses of quality red wine (bordeaux, chianti, rioja, etc) per week
3-5 drinks per week)
however there are wines that are more bad than good, particularly californias, roses, and champagnes, which are mostly just sugar and alcohol
>garlic
I mean honestly you could just swallow a spoonful of grated garlic every day
the point of eating garlic fresh is that it retains most of the beneficial compounds like allicin and alliin, which help regulate blood pressure, clotting, and are overall just great phyochemicals
>soap
In general, there's plenty of soaps that are similar to this. Just look for "unscented pure castile soap," it's everywhere
the main purpose of soap is that it's a surfactant, which means the only two components you need are a vehicle and a surfactant, usually lye or sodium carbonate and tallow, wax, or olive oil
>skin products
yes you should avoid doing that.
It's relatively clean only after a shower where I use shampoo. Otherwise, it's a bit greasy and I wipe it off when I see it. Also, wouldn't this imply you don't need to really launder your sweaty clothes, you can just dunk them in water and dry them?
Is castor oil healthy or part of the onions diet?
Cream with hydraulic acid + SPF 30 in the morning
Tretinoin at night
I started fin 3-4 months ago. Are my temples being salvaged?
It’s over it’s so fricking over
A trip to Turkey might help, if you're willing to spend money that is.
staying away from foids
moisturizer
sunscreen
great genes
Anti ageing shit breaks my brain especially since it takes months for effects to show up. I'm just gonna go to a dermatologist a number of times and work with his homosexual ass to figure out what works for me.
I do pic related:
>Neutrogena Deep Clean Daily Facial Cleanser
(Use on my face in the shower)
>e.l.f SKIN Holy Hydration!
(Apply to my face after getting out of the shower)
>La Roche-Posay Anthelios Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50
(Apply to my face shortly after applying the hydration cream)
Anyone else have opinions on this? I've been doing this every day for months now, and I think it's helped to maintain a healthy glow. I'll also use a Red Light therapy wand on my face occasionally, along with Neutrogena Retinol Regenerating Cream before bed from time to time.
Incredible Irish genetics. Booze. Stay the frick out of the sun! Two packs a day Marb Reds
what the frick is this homosexual thread?
/fa/gs leaking?
I jack off three times a day, keeps me youthful and virile.
Not giving a frick is great anti aging practice. Stress is bad for your body.
So do you really need more than just cleanser + moisteurizer + sun screen?
