They're saying all alcohol but a few drinks per week increases your lifespan by around 3-5 years. It's like taking a baby aspirin and the hormesis keeps your body stronger for longer

there are a lot of studies that show people who drink less frequently but same amount in 1 night as those who actually do regularly drink face significantly worse health issues

so what does that bring the drinking meta to?

The drinking meta is not to drink alcohol.

That can't possibly be true. You either misread the study or it's another one of the billions of bullshit unreproducible "studies" coming out these days

the more you drink at once the higher the concentration of toxins and carcinogens in your blood increases, exponentially
by the time you're drunk off your ass you've got like 1000x more acetaldehyde and shit in your blood than someone who had had 1 drink, despite only having 6-10 more standard drinks in total

that being said the risk of alcohol is very overblown, look up the definition of heavy drinking to get an idea of just how much drinking it takes to actually hurt you

You should limit alcohol to what you drink socially. If you're going out for drinks you should get a gin & tonic or a vodka soda depending on the occasion because they have like half the calories of beer

    Use my method.

    >First of all, mix it with weed. If you're not doing this, you're a fricking normie mouth-breathing npc square. 100x more enjoyable this way
    >If you don't have weed/don't like it, then you're going to need to get like 9/10 drunk (where 10/10 is blacking the frick out) to have a good time. The real music enhancement and genuine fun happens when you are "drunk drunk" which is 7.5-9/10 on the drunk scale.
    >On that note, anything below 7.5 is fricking gay. Boring as shit. If you're not drinking to get drunk just frick off and work some overtime or mow your fricking lawn or something. Save your tolerance (and health) for the big days. Frick having a beer or two and then stopping it is so fricking limp dick and gay and literally pussy shit
    >Beer and calorie dense drinks are actually good for you. You drink those and you don't have to frick with gay food. You drink hard liquor (which has its place don't get me wrong) and your body will play the "im hwungwee im hwungwee pweasse pheed mee" bullshit and you'll have to throw gay food down your gullet to shut it the frick up because the hard shit isn't calorically dense and if we're keeping our tolerance nice and low and virginal and sensitive then it will frick you up dangerously quick
    >Good thing about hard liquor is the alcohol %. You can get super fricked up super quick with just a few shots whereas with beer/wine you have to down a shit load of liquid to reach that level

Kind of went on a rant there but basically: drink to get drunk; a mild buzz is so fricking gay and boring. If you do this and YOU DON'T DO IT OFTEN then alcohol can be very enjoyable and not too detrimental ime. Frick having a glass of wine with dinner or a beer after work. That's regular drinking. Get super fricked up once in a blue moon it's so much better.

Wine is the only good form of alcohol but even then in lowest amounts possible.
Problem of alcohol is the amount of inflamation it causes on your own body. It ruins your gains and destroys your body on the inside you, I used to be an alcoholic for about 2 years, my family has alcoholic tendencies, but it is really not worth it, seeing my dad and uncles aging like shit made me rethink it.

I began drinking as a fat frick at 25. I lost 67 pounds after two years of alcoholism. I regained some of that in the past year. I'm afraid if I stop drinking I will become a fat frick again. Should I get medication or something?

      >Vodka helps dilate arteries.
lol why would you need this?

      >Guinness is full of more iron than spinach.
So I can either get 1 mg of iron from 700 calories of Guinness or 9 calories of spinach, I guess you got me there
