    Just recently tbh in the past few years.

    I’ve been lifting for 13 years and I’ve finally achieved what I’d consider impressive numbers (squat 405x10, bench 315x8, deadlift 500x8) I’ve been natural the whole time and still don’t have that super jacked look. Then I look around at guys at the gym and so many are training like complete pussies yet are huge and lean, it’s a dead giveaway they’re on.

          You pretty much unlocked bane mode. Why not just cut bf though? Lifts would go down, but you would surely look more shredded. Basically the only thing holding back your physique is abs showing. Good on you though. I’ve been lifting for about the same amount of time (11 years) and the last 5 or so years have been difficult due to repeated injuries. I’m not close to the numbers you have achieved

      Ive been lifting for the same amount of time as you, you should have learned by now that the whole strength focused autism of the 2010s was a lie, that whole "NATTYS HAVE TO BE STRONGER TO GET BIGGER" thing was always a fricking myth

      Im not saying strength is useless, but what i am saying is actually yes, doing a bunch of different meme exercises for pump and fluff will unironically make you grow muscle as a natty, it doesn't require steroids.

      The body actually responds (yes even naturally) really well if you a bunch of exercises pumping that particular muscle up, its why those weak dudebros can go into the gym and train a brosplit and do 5-10 different exercises for chest for 2-3 sets each just getting a pump on each one, not even using that much weight, and have a really well developed chest, its because they're hitting their chest muscles in 5-10 different ways stimulating the muscle fibers in many different ways in a single session, it forces that muscle to grow based on all the different kind of pressure it had put on it from all kinds of angles

      Yes you can get big with strength-focused, but actually getting big with strength training requires having good genetics, most guys can get 1/2/3/4 and will still barely look like they lift because they just trained in terms of learning to move weight and optimized around that, and didnt ever train specifically with each individual muscle in mind

      Strength is also heavily reliant on SKILL and TECHNIQUE, which is why you have 150lb guys able to bench 315-405lb, some guys can get there purely based on skill & technique, without requiring any of the muscle mass/size, and you will see that guys who are skinny but really strong, its because their training is specific to the SKILL and TECHNIQUE of moving the weight is what they excel in, and they progressed their strength using skill. which is why they don't see muscularity comparable strength, because they didnt get the strength using muscle hypertrophy

        I do a variety of exercises though, I just listed those 3 as they’re an easy way to gauge progress.

        One of my push days for example is

        Bench
        Smith shoulder press seated
        Db inclines
        Weighted dips
        Cable laterals
        Peck deck
        Straight bar cable push downs
        Overhead rope extensions

        All trained in the 8-20 rep range. The beginning few exercises focused on progressive overload and the later exercises focused on pump

          You doing delts and triceps on the same day you're doing chest is NOT optimizing your muscle growth for chest, nor is it optimizing growth for your delts and triceps

          You really should have started a brosplit 10 years and switched your training up to be entirely muscle-specific focused for that day and just been happy with your first 3 years of strength gains and just left it there and switched to focusing on the muscles individually breaking them down and dropped the whole strength autism
