My travels on the internet have brought me to a conclusion. There is no other place on the internet (as far as I know) that allows for the broad range of topics discussed on this image board. Obviously that opens the door for many negative things, but the gamble guarantees a jackpot every now and then

My hopeful mind tries to think of it as growing pains for the golden age of humanity. I optimize my social media feeds to show me spiritually encouraging material so I'm not downtrodden by bad things. To be honest with you though, my logical thought process tells me that we are doomed
I think most people's hurdle comes with their struggle to balance being aware of the bad things while appreciating good things, people in the modern era are not appreciative at all because they're so fixated on what they feel screwed over on. in reality, you can realize there are a lot of bad things in the world without drowning in the negativity they create

all the advice i can give you anon, is never ever be afraid to put yourself in new situations and meet new people, it's scary but it's always worth it if you have the humility and awareness to learn something, and you will be rewarded
