Making headway into a jogging interval program as well as starting on conventional squats and deadlifts. Currently rehabilitating myself from a couple of old leg injuries that have been plaguing me for 10+ years but after a LOT of frick ups, bad information from "professionals" and ignorance on my part I have finally got my shit together and have been making steady progress for the last 1.5 years. Is time speeding up and we don’t know it or are we getting increasingly shittier at time management? Everyone I know is experiencing this so it’s not just me
That's the power of habit. Your brain becomes really efficient at doing the same things over and over, and when it's doing something familiar there's no reason to keep you at a heightened state of awareness and perception. Even a ''productive'' routine can be executed in a basically semi-zombified state.
also on top of this your brain doesn't imprint any real memories from these routine events so when you recall it nothing really comes up and it feels like time just flew by
It’s called aging anon and the acceleration of perceived time wont stop until you die
The arrogant smile you had looking at older people will quickly vanish
>are we getting increasingly shittier at time management?
to quote my homie wewantwraiths...."I ain’t got time, but I make time for all my homies why?
Cause’ they all tried and bare in mind we don’t wan’ live this life"
I got carried away with bulking for the first time ever. Started eating at a chinese buffet on lifting days. I did gain some mass but my pants and some shirts don't fit anymore. I was looking great and had some shirts darted to fit better. Luckily they are all spring/summer colors because I look ridiculous in them now.
I'm going as hard as I can at the gym for the next 6 months. I'm back living with my parents after moving out for the first time, and while I already want to move out again I have the vague plan of >work as much as I can >gym as much as I can >save money as much as I can
for these 6 months, leading up to my sisters wedding where I plan to look IST and hot as frick. After her wedding I'll be house sitting for her for 5 weeks, and after that I've been really considering going overseas, traveling on my own for 2 or 3 months, then coming back home for December.
Have you done your research on how to achieve your dream physique? If you're an experienced lifter then keep it up. Otherwise I suggest you learn how to bodybuild correctly so that you make the most out of these 6 months. 6 months of noob bodybuilding can make a huge difference, but plenty of people frick it up and end up looking the same or thinking progress is slow because that's how it is
I wish I never took a break from lifting
I went from >1/2/3/4
To >The bar/95lbs/1pl8/1pl8
I'm so fricking weak now.
I will get back to my former glory.
Hopefully down to 70ish kg's (currently 90kg).
Also want to have a decent amount saved to start looking for a house by early 2025 so ill see how my savings are sitting by sept
I really want to be under 100kg by December, achieving goal weight next year but I don't know bros, I keep falling to temptation even when I try really hard
I only defeated my fat when 4 things happened;
1. I truely had enough. No more. Leading to iron determination. Every previous attempt was half assed and thus failed
2. I removed any temptation from my life. No social events outside of musts, no comfy food stored in my place etc
3. I learned how to and how it feels like to eat at maintenance
4 I understood why i became overweight in the first place (overeating as a coping mechanism)
ill get a gf
will have learned a new language
and be 12% bf
developed my hobby way further
you can screenshot this Black person, its happening because it is the first year im actually trying
The following: >graduate college >complete and publish multiple short stories >cut successfully down to 160lbs
It would be cool to have a gf but imma be honest probably not. Also career wise I have no clue what I wanna do but if I can achieve these three I will be happy 🙂
I turn 38 in September, by then I'd like to:
Be an even better dad (basically have full custody of my son).
Maybe find someone to have more kids with.
180 12%bf down from 197 on 1 Jan, 194.6 today.
Keep my easy mostly wfh job.
Buy dual tube night vision, only have a PVS14 at the moment.
Kill it at the Tactical Games.
Frick my kid's preschool teacher (hooked up in my car yesterday but didn't go all the way).
Read at least one book per week.
god i truly hope i am dead, either finally getting the balls to kill myself or if i die painlessly in an accident/in my sleep. my life is so fricking horrible
I hoping of hitting 165 lean
Maybe even 162
But just a slight calorie increase to not get fat.
Now with my new supervisor who gives no shits and works is like dogs lifting heavy as packages all day.
I can eat more calories without gaining weight.
My fricking legs are crying in pain from basically farmer waking 120lb dumbbells all day today
And I am hungrier then ever now
Like my body telling me to eat more for gains.
210 to 190lbs
Maybe 185ish

These, but will be jacked.
september

No, you're getting older, thus every second/minute/hour/day/week/month feels less significant as it takes a smaller % of the time you have been alive
Yes, we live in an accelerating universe.
