Which of these are still achievable for a 27 years old man?

>good health
>a degree
>a job
>some savings
>a home
>some friends
>a girlfriend
>playing the piano
>playing tennis
>cooking and baking
I am 27 years old and have none of the above. All I want is to be a normal person with a normal life. Is this still achievable for me?

What about the girlfriend part? Getting my life together will take YEARS. On IST the consensus seems to be that once you hit 30 with no girlfriend/wife you will die alone or you have to date some mindbroken 30+ bodycount ex bawd who will not even like you.

Dude that's unironically the fate 99% of men face unless you married your first girlfriend in school

No girl makes it past age 18 without at least a double digit bodycount and very few make it through University/College without racking up 50-100 bodies.

you don't need to have your life together to get a girlfriend, be sociable, outgoing, spend time with women, be funny, and you will easily find a girlfriend
most people that cannot get a girlfriend is not because of some random artificial things you fixated on, most people cannot get a girlfriend because they don't spend time around people their age

That’s how consensus on IST is born. 95% of the advice you read about women on the internet is going to be garbage. The average poster is both loud and clueless. There’s a paradox where the people who are the least successful with women are the most interested in discussing it online.

It can be done. But you need to lock in. You need to stand on business. I am probably only a few months younger than you. I went through this crisis around covid times. The good news is that after a year or two, you can look back and say
    >wow. I've changed
The bad news is that what's done is never done. The personality changes that you need to make will make it such that you will never be satisfied with the result. You will run and run, and you will cover great distances. You may pass people who had an enormous headstart. You may even think "wow I've run so far." But you will always be dissatisfied because the birds soar high above you, jeering. Is that a sacrifice you are willing to make?

All of them. You might not be a world class pianist or renowned doctor or electrical engineer with 15 patents, but you can still mostly do any degree that you could if you were 18, and learning piano to a good degree is also possible of you really want to learn piano to play piano instead of impressig b***hes. Objectively speaking at 27 its not much more over than it was when you were 18.

What about tennis? Can you still learn it and become decent at it so you can play with others at my age? I don't need to become an excellent player, just so much that I can maybe make some friends, maybe even find some tennis qt.

        Anonymous

        >maybe even find some tennis qt
There is nothing more off-putting than being bad at something in front of a girl, or being the new guy somewhere and not knowing what to do or otherwise just not being dominant, competent and confident in your every action. You're literally a low-status male to her.

If you suck at tennis you will dry up the veganas of every woman in a 100 mile radius of your club. Even if you become a pro they will never ever shake the first image they had of you when you were serving into the net 5x in a row when you first started.

So basically because I am not good at anything and it taking decades to become competent the girlfriend thing is the only thing not achievable on the list. >ooga booga penis in vegana
Go and buy a racquet and practice forehands, backhands, serves and volleys in front of the mirror a few thousand times per week.
Go and buy a few dozen tennis balls and then serve them on repeat a few thousand times until you can get it in the box every single time you serve.
Hit the tennis ball against a wall somewhere until you can rally decently

Then join a tennis club and say you haven't played since high school.

You're going to have to dedicate maybe 10,000 hours of training into this before you should even join a club if you don't want to be a complete laughing stock

sure, if you practice. not only every thing from your list is possible but also all of them. if you think about it most of them are pretty related. Tennis, cooking and health are very much related. so is a degree, job, and savings. Just you know, prioritize and minmax. Dont focus on everything at once, youll burn out. Cooking can be classified as household skills so learn basic things and get good at them, dont jump straight to michelin star molecular gastronomy. If you learn to cook at home and practice tennis, your health will improve by itself. if you get a job and you're not a moron you will save money. I assume you live with your parents. What degree do you want to have?

          >What degree do you want to have?
Electrical engineering. Also, I want to learn how to play the piano because next to ISTness I need at least some type of intellectual hobby. I played keyboard as a kid, just like I played some tennis but quit because I had a horrible childhood and got addicted to videogames/anime/porn.
I am basically trying to take back my life where it ended as a kid. I always wanted to do robotics as well.

            Anonymous

Electrical engineering is easy. if I was you, I'd start with looking for a job that's somehow related to electricity. Cutting and plugging cables, fixing phones etc. Anything that let's you work with wire strippers and a soldering iron. You'd be surprised how much of an advantage that gives you in e-tech studies.
Then start putting some money back and enroll in university (or college, if you're a burger) on a part-time basis once you can afford it.
At the same time, keep an eye on ebay, craigs list or whatever you ahve in case someone's giving away a keyboard with broken keys / speakers / backlight. Those can all be fixed fairly easy if you know how to use a soldering iron.

At the same time, start cooking your own meals. Noodles and chilli con carne to start with, then advance to pancakes, pizza / foccacia, rice dishes and pies.

Once you're comfortable in your new life, get fitting clothes and start puuting yourself out. Tennis club, gym, wh40k games or whatever you can think of. Doesn't matter, as long as there's people there.

Finally, once you have some people you talk with regularly, read some pickup guides. THey're mostly bullshit, but following them will show WHY they're bullshit, and increase your chances of getting laid.

Having all but two of these at 28 despite a shitty start to life (won't bore you with the details, but let's just say all I got was money I've never touched), here's my estimate:
    >degree
Yeah, unless you're a moron. Universities have dumbed down so much that you an pass with little more than highschool level.
    >a job
Depends on your country, but should be easy. Especially since you don't ahve a degree. Just be prepared for exploiting, shitty jobs.
    >savings
Yes, if you have a job
    >a home
Does a cardboard box count? I mean, if you have literally zero savings, chances are bad. If you have little, move your ass to /diy and study up on how to repair a trashy house.
    >friends / girlfriends
Bad chances. The older you get, the faker people become. You can find guys to get drunk with or girls to frick regularly, but actual heart-to-heart is unlikely.
    >piano
Without a piano? Zero With one (or a keyboard), you can quickly learn some basic pieces, but actually playing it takes lots of theory.
    >tennis
    No idea, I'm straight.
    >cooking / baking
easy. Just get started. Noodle dishes are cheap and easy. Then start making your own tomato sauce and meat sauces (Roux, I think they're called?). With baking, start with pastry / pie dough, then yeasted dough. Biscuit and puffpaste are a bit more involved, but also fairly easy.

At 27, you are pretty much at the perfect age to figure out what you want to do with your life and start it immediately.

    Step one, start today
Research colleges in your area, apply, start in September
Go to gym monday wednesday friday
Get a full time minimum wage job
Put away % of every paycheque into savings

Step two, start over the summer
Continue wagegrind and gymgrind and savegrind
Read about eating healthy, learn to cook easy healthy meals that you enjoy, build routine of cooking for yourself

    Step three, start in September
    Change fulltime job to parttime
    Study hard
    Continue going to gym
    Continue cooking for yourself
Go to clubs week and join tennis club
Attend frosh week and be as outgoing and social as you can physically possibly be, this is the week that will have the most social Return On Investment possibly in your life

    Step four, start in February
Continue doing all of the above
Find a piano teacher to receive 1 on 1 lessons once per week
Continue building friendships from frosh and tennis club

    Step five
Graduate in 4 years as a man who is jacked, has friends, can cook, can play piano, can play tennis, and has savings
Get a professional job in your field and continue saving, learn about investment vehicles

Owning a home will come later after X years of professional working and saving.

Girlfriend: Only look for one if youve made it to graduation without having passively picked one up. By focusing on yourself and your goals, men develop an aura that naturally draws women into their life. You should not be actively stressing about finding a girlfriend during these four years, but it will likely happen as you improve and women see an admirable man who is working towards what he wants.

Those are illegal to give to 27+ yos in any modern country.

    >some savings

    >a home
Nobody will sell a home to a shit-ass oldman. Even if you overpay for a house - your neighbors will burn it so they don't have to live near a cane user.

    >some friends
    In a retirement community maybe
