    Never go below 10%, never go above 15%. For most adult men, that means never bulking for more than 3-4 months before a cut.

      False. I agree on never go above 15% but that doesnt mean 3-4 months. You can gain 1-3kg of lean muscle mass in a year. 10% to 15% is a lot more than 3kg. Even if you are gaining the upper limit or double that, you can easily bulk for an entire year. Thats why so many people look so shit, they spend 50% of the time in the gym on a deficit. You dont benefit any more from a 500kcal surplus let alone +1000kcal surplus than you do from 200kcal surplus. Or 100 for that matter. But as the margins get smaller it gets harder to accurately stay within that arbitrary range.

      Point is that instead of gaining x weight in 3-4 months on a surplus, you could spend 12 months aka make 3-4x more gains gaining the x weight over that time and make 3-4x more lean muscle mass gains than you would in 3-4 months. And your cut would still be the same length in both cases.

    The guy looks too fat for 15%. 8% is unrealistic for most guys and hard to maintain. From these pictures I’d say 8 in real life I’d say 12%. 12% is really lean but maintainable and you won’t have low energy or anything like that

      Nah middle is too lean for women, I'd say 8-9% is woman's extra, where they could take it or leave it. Ideal is probably 10-13% where you can see abs but not dick roots lean.

    This is what I do too. I eat a lot and offset it with more cardio. The best way to get an easy deficit is by walking: I walk 10 miles and thats around 900 calories. But anything helps because the more calories you take off the more calories you eat. While lifting I also blast the exercise bike hard to get like 100, 200, 300 or so more calories off

    Basically more food is more protein but you don't want to consume too many calories and get fat, so that means:
    > liftin 'eavy
    > eatn 'eavy
    > burnin 'eavy
    > simple as
