Doubt it. Lots of fillers and screaming. I think the DBZ kai or super, one of those, is supposed to be the same but with less fillers but I doubt it has the same feels. Maybe Dragon Ball would be okay, but it's pretty childish so an adult with no feelings of nostalgia might not like it.
The OG Dragon Ball is the most interesting for an adult in my opinion, it's funny and it feels very weird and alien, it's also a good excuse to read the (honestly quite unrelated) Journey to the West

If you can't get into DBZ, if you can't have the hyped mindset to enjoy it, I legit think you are NGMI. So much of the shows essence just embodies some of the best behaviors you could have about self-improvement.

But when you finish your set she'd be pretty cool about it. She would very occasionally smile after you do well, or say "You're progressing quickly" if you're doing good. This would drive you to work just a bit harder to get those kinds of remarks again in the future. Piccolo would be similar, but with a more threatening attitude. Like you'd do another rep out of fear of how he'd react if you didn't. But when you start getting better he'd be more hands off, telling you that he's proud of your work and respects you, but without actually saying anything. After your workout he'd say "Good job anon. Now rest and come back two days from now."
