>start working out with 15 lb weights 2 weeks ago >pretty sure I developed an ulnar nerve problem 1 week into it
Frick me for starting in my late 20s I guess, remember it can always be too late.
Idk anon I have a long history of pushing myself and getting lifelong injuries, my left forearm has hurt since my first job for a construction company when I was 18, I got nerve damage and can’t move my left pinky toe from doing door to door sales and walking 10 miles a day while chainsmoking when I was 19, I got some issue where my left shin cramps up when I walk up and incline from running to catch busses to warehouse jobs in steel toed boots when I was 21, and they all still bother me at 27. Pain is weakness entering the body I like to say. Now my ulnar side of my left hand has been hurting for a week and only seems to be getting worse. Maybe I just have weak genes.
No anon you just gave a misconception about being human
Pain is a constant companion. You need to address it if it gets out of hand and in general take care of yourself but collecting scars and pain is a basic part of life
I would be happy to lift through the pain if I didn’t think I was breaking something. I spent an hour on a stair climbing machine despite my shin cramping the whole time (I regret this though I have been stiff since), been spending an hour every night on the treadmill despite my foot pain. I am just gonna keep icing my hand and taking advil and not moving it for the next few days. You think I should just muscle through it? I really don’t care about pain if it isn’t permanent damage.
Sounds like a diet problem more than a lifting problem. Just eat way more meat and cut carbs. Do carnivore. After a month of carnivore, you will have a different life. I healed a 20 year old injury in one month.
I eat tons of meat, my diet has just been vegetables and meat since I was 24. I added in oats recently for skin gains. Everything I eat is bland, it is pretty much orthorexia if you believe in that kind of thing.
Unironically start stretching. It sounds like you have a ton of imbalances and compensate for them unconsciously. I used to think yoga and pilates were for women until I married someone who encouraged me to try them and my pain (decades+ old sports injuries, work injuries, etc) became miniscule/easier to manage while my lifts started climbing again. I'm 34 with partial tears in my elbow and a bad rotator cuff, along with a myriad of others that aren't important to this example, and am finally able to bench heavy again. There are people who broke a middle toe as a child and ended up with imbalances in their back muscles because of it. It seems you've just accepted your fate instead of going back to basics and putting your body into positions where it can then tell you what you need to work on.

I WILL BECOME STRONG
a couple threads ago I read that some anon got pretty good gains with only a pair of dumbells
i have a pair of dumbells, a barbell and around 60lbs of weights what's a routine I can do to get stronger? >inbf4 homie eat more
working on it, I'm up 10lbs since when I started
You're gonna need a lot more than 60 lbs, get more weights and follow any beginner program.
If dark boys in Africa can build a bench press rig out of wood and rocks, you absolutely can
i went out and counted I have around 100 lbs of weights (5kg plates x5, 2kg plates x4, 1kg plates x12), I know it's still not enough probably but let's start with that, when those weights won't be enough I'll consider a gym subscription, it would be a waste not to use the equipment I found lying in the streets for free
I might also consider welding a squat rack together and purchasing a cheap ass bench >follow any beginner program
any recs? I heard Stronglifts 5x5 as a name thrown around but it
intimidates the fact that one of the 4 exercise it reccommends I can't do cause I don't have a bench
If you can weld, you could absolutely build your own rack to help you with squats/bench/whatever. If money isn't that tight, I'd absolutely consider a gym subscription. My biggest reason for not home gymming is that I believe that it's good for your mental health to have a few reasons to get out of your house.
But you do you, you may be dyel, but I think you'll outgrow 100 lbs for all lifts except ohp very fast. Stronglifts 5x5 is good, I started with it. Just don't be a dumbass like me and keep doing it for a year.
wtf I just posted that pic in another thread I didn't even see you posted it here lol
>My biggest reason for not home gymming is that I believe that it's good for your mental health to have a few reasons to get out of your house.
My reason for home gym personally is that I can get home late and not worry about it being so late because I still have to work out. There's pros and cons. I just get myself out of the house for other reasons including fomo
>>60% of young males are now sexless and it's only increasing. Let's not even get into the mental health and loneliness epidemic that is being kept under the rug for years now.
not my problem
If you keep dooming, you'll always be sexless and lonely. I'm not saying that to argue against you, I'm telling you that the only thing stopping you from leaving the 60% is you.
I'm too blackpilled to care but I'm still gona bump, because this is the best thread on IST and hopefully other anons won't fall in the dark hole I have.

I started at 34. All the problems iron out by 6 months of lifting.

It's only too late if you allow yourself to think it is

Help I oscillate between IT'S OVER and WE'RE SO BACK, and i'm sure that's not normal
Swings are normal, best advice I can give is to try to take the edges off both ends.
In other words, calm the frick down
Same. I’m trying to detect it and improve
I’m feeling confident about the future

You don't deserve to be unhappy anon. Stop making choices that make you feel that way

.
No amount of effort will overrule genetics. Why bother?
to not getting regected by escorts
I'd rather be the guy on the left than be seen in public with such an embarrassing shirt as the guy on the right.
wasted
no idea who the guy on the right is
but he looks like he fricks
there's not a single thing the guy on the right has that the guy on the left could not get neturally.
What about consensual sex from a biological female of age
i'm sure he fricks
Sure, he fricks gay men on grindr. No women however
