Who is correct?

They literally give the exact opposite health advice and both claim to have solved nutrition.

>low meat, high veggie, lots of water, no dairy, low sugar

Vs

Ray Peat is a man who loved to sit around and write about biochemistry all day on his little blog. He had many opinions about sugar (good), fat (saturated > unsaturated) and a slew of other chemicals such as serotonin. I don't think any of his claims has ever been studied, but his followers have a cult-like devotion to him on their own forum (which you have to pay to access) where the top-grifter sells his home-made Bulgarian hormones to fatties-to-be.

The average follower takes their Idols scripture as an excuse to drink liters of cola and eat buckets of ice cream every day in a futile attempt to "boost the metabolism". You will also find the average follower to have their fridge stocked with vials of progesterone and old allergy medicine bought dutifully from their favorite forum moderator. Of course, you'll never see the Peat-heads post their physique because they are for the most part overweight, or for those few that don't overeat, twinks like the man himself.

Some of their favorite phrases include "Peat didn't give out dietary recommendations" and "Caffeine is a vitamin"

ray peatgays contradict themselves every time
what is the goal of their dietary guidelines?
to improve longevity? then "boosting metabolism" is bad
to improve fitness? then taking progesterone and aspirine and controlling protein intake is bad
to improve fertility? then taking progesterone medication is bad
to improve mood? then relying on aspirines or progesterone medication or orange juice and low fat milk with added sugar is bad
to improve dental or gut health? then any sugary food is bad

          >to improve dental or gut health? then any sugary food is bad
Don't care about ray peat or any other of the stuff that you said, but if you consume Vitamin C, B6, and K2 in adequate amounts, it is unlikely that you will ever get cavities. Teeth get messed up because of bad diet and vitamin deficiencies, not because you don't brush enough to get le evil fructose out. Think about why they never find some 20,000 BC caveman skull with cavity ridden teeth. Because they didn't have them back then.

            >Don't care about ray peat or any other of the stuff that you said
I can already tell this is gonna be a big moronic post talking about shit that you think matters but doesn't or shit you think is true but in reality it isn't
            > but if you consume Vitamin C, B6, and K2 in adequate amounts, it is unlikely that you will ever get cavities
well you're wrong, even wild bears get cavities and die from tooth infections, the little sugar that they happen to get their mouths on is enough to rot their teeth out and bears produce a shit ton of vitamin C without a need for it in the diet
K2 is also produced within our own bodies and the amounts found in natural foods is tiny that have never been shown to prevent cavities in vivo even in mega doses
B6 is found in regular ass foods and not a problem in the western diet
            >teeth get messed up because of bad diet
            yes
            >and vitamin deficiencies
massively overblown, maybe in vegans but not regular people
the reason why people lose their teeth is because they rot from the constant bombardment of rotting foodbits in their mouth turning it acidic
            >not because you don't brush enough to get le evil fructose out
it's not just fructose moron but all sugars and other foodbits that bacteria like to eat producing an acidic environment that eats away at your teeth
            >Think about why they never find some 20,000 BC caveman skull with cavity ridden teeth
            why 20000BC?
we have paleolithic and mesolithic skulls with signs of tooth decay just not as prevalent as more recent skulls
            >Because they didn't have them back then.
they did, just not nearly as much as we have today because they didn't eat anywhere near the same amount of sugary shit we eat today and definitely not as frequently as we do now

Lots of water is the weirdest advice ever to me. I think it is basically telling the people that drink cola and coffee all day to drink water instead. If they told me to drink lots of water they would be telling me that I need to piss every half hour and my urine would be like water. Instead of the pale yellow it normally is. Other than in the morning where it is darker cause of sleep dehydration.
