    Only people who have twinkish appetites can eat nuts regularly while getting / maintaining leanness. Nuts offer close to zero satiety while absolutely packing calories. As OP said, couple handful of nuts will easily add 500 calories to your macros and you'll still be hungry.

    They are not for lean people. Anyone who eats them regularly is still chubby, unless they can be satisfied with amount in OP's pic. Very easy for people with normal appetites to eat 2000 calories of nuts in one sitting and still be hungry.

    I let myself go over the past 2 years. What works for me is to eat the same OMAD every day until you reach your goal. It sucks but it works. I don’t have any room for nuts. Those calories should be spared for protein.
