          magnesium too

in the forms of magnesium- and potassium chloride... both are salts you absolute morons

    cause they're rare.
most molecules are made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen, which are abundant.
    minerals can't be synthesized.

      t. brainlet 'synthesizing' carbon, hydrogeny oxygen and niteogen in his basement.
I hope you have at least some basic education and understand that all lighter elements are formed by fusion and not synthesized. All significant amounts of elements are either formed by fusion or shit like supernovaea.
This board is so fricking full of brainlets its unbearable.

no I meant carbon hydrogen nitrogen and oxygen are used to synthesize most molecules.

literally just get nosalt for potassium, table salt for sodium (both of them also have chloride obviously) and eat dark green leaves for magnesium or buy magnesium citrate which is literally $20 a bottle of 200+ pills

what's so expensive about this? have you been israeliteed by fasting/keto brands?

Because people don't know what they are or how easy they are to get from food. I keep magnesium on hand for quick refills when I get muscle twitches or headaches, but you can easily get all the chloride and potassium you need from salt and bananas.

you also get a sugar coma from eating enough bananas to cover your potassium RDA

      moron

Yes and I get all my chloride from eating one spoonful of table salt every day and nothing else. You're supposed to eat regular food too, you mongoloid, your electrolyes should never get low enough that you have to get your entire daily intake of potassium all at once by pounding bananas. Just have a banana as a post-workout snack to help replenish your stores and it'll be just as good as whatever electrolyte drink you can buy. We're talking about very small differences here. I don't even know what point you thought you were making.

spinach isn't food? leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables aren't food? you absolute moron mongoloid
the reason sodium causes hypertension is because you're constantly overflowing with glucose which helps retain water

bananas are only a good source of sugar if you want anabolism, the amount of potassium you get from a banana is not even 12% the RDA, potatoes have more potassium and are a better form of carbs
and yes you should get the RDA if you eat like you're supposed to, not many times a day, and only one sugar spiking meal

Not sure what's wrong with your reading comprehension but you're both agreeing with me. You shouldn't be getting your RDA of electrolytes from sports drinks, either. Eat a normal diet, add an extra banana to get a little extra potassium if you work out. You guys are arguing about claims I didn't make. I did NOT say that bananas should be your only source of potassium, I'm saying you're better off having a banana and some water than a gatorade.

ok I agree with that, but you dont eat a banana to satisfy your whole electrolyte needs, it's just an anabolic food

Sounds like you're buying the wrong ones. Try trace minerals.

Electrons are really hard to separate from atoms, so you have to use special materials to make it cheaper in the first place, and then you have to do a bunch to make it edible because humans aren't batteries and it's a whole ordeal.
Plus I mean CAPITALISM you can't get ANYTHING cheap. The whole system is built on milking the cow for as much as possible while doing as little as you can for it.

It's not like they're selling ions, they just bind them to elements your body can easily detach them from. Kind of like salt. Which is cheap. It's very easy to get enough electrolytes, dedicated electrolyte powders are all marketing. Put some salt/sugar in water.
