There is this idea that there is not real reason for a man to agree to fight a woman. Either he wins which was already expected of him since he is a man, or he loses and he suffers a humiliating loss he will never be able to live down.
I can imagine a scenario where a male ufc champion agrees to fight a female fighter for some exhibition match. Even if he lost due to some complete fluke, especially if it ended with him being knocked out or submitted, he would never be seen as he once was. All of his respect would be gone instantly. No matter if he were a multi weight division champion who had defended his rules numerous times, he would always be known as the guy who lost a fight to a girl.
To see how extreme this actually is, it would be more respectable for a ufc champion to lose a fight to an untrained male in such an exhibition than for him to lose to a female professional fighter. It would be embarrassing still, but it would be far better for his reputation than to have to be seen as a guy who was physically beaten by a woman.
Is this due to the idea of how such a man would be perceived by women? Such as how there are ideas thrown around that a man who is beaten in a fight will have his girlfriend or wife now see his conqueror as a better and stronger man. So how would a mans wife or girlfriend see her partner after he is physically beaten by another woman? Could she still respect him after such an event?
Anyway, why is this such a common anxiety and insecurity for men?
depends on how he lost, if it's by submission he could argue the female was more technically skilled and agile. that's what bjj markets itself for anyway
sit on my face gobu!!
there's no position in bjj that would entail me sitting on your face
what is bjj
brazilian jiu jitsu aka ground grappling based on applying leverages and incapacitating limbs
BJJ sucks ass and is for homos, come to wrestling goblina
i'm almost 24 and i've never wrestled, who would take me
There's always a simp that would gladly help your fat ass out
They market themselves like that but they still have weight divisions in bjj competitions. It’s like every other martial art. It’s no meme where weight is taken out of the equation like they’d like to say. A small boxer could beat up a huge untrained guy. It’s no different in other martial arts but strength and worth matter a lot still
wow you know so much but can't even figure out how to lose weight. very impressive!
haha imagine if she was sitting on your face during a tumble and accidentally let loose a huge brap. imagine how embarrassed she would be and how hard it would be for you to pretend to not be aroused
meds right now
I think it's just it's like apples and oranges man. In the old days they would "give odds" in chess where someone would give the other person an extra piece or a pawn. However the resulting game is just kind of odd and not really how chess is supposed to go. It's the same for any male vs female contest - the male will have a lot more natural strength in certain areas than the female and the female would have to be vastly ahead of the man technically. It's just a sort of circus show, that is why.
So why is it so embarrassing?
we are a sexually dimorphic species, where men are bigger and stronger than women, due to sexual selective pressures. women select for men that can protect and provide for them. if you, as a man, a protector, can get beaten up but a woman, the person you are supposed to be protecting, then that means you are not fit to protect them and thus disqualified from mating.
Ya but what percentage of men can beat a female ufc fighter?
I don't know the exact percentage but it doesn't change the answer to your question. you asked why men are embarrassed by the thought of losing a fight against a woman, and I explained that women are biologically attracted to men who are stronger than they are, so they can protect and provide for them. this selection pressure is why men are stronger than women. men intuitively understand this and the implication that if they are shown to be weaker than a woman, they are disqualified from mating.
So would getting beat up by a female ufc fighter in front of your gf make her less attracted to you?
i dunno y dont u try it
Where do you think you are that you think I’d be able to try this?
I have never even held hands with a woman
Exactly.
I have fought a woman and made her cry in a martial arts sparring match before, but never have I been able to hold hands
Are you a female? It's instinctual for us males.
I frequently jerk off to a certain type of pornography where men and women wrestle in a very particular way.
It's like losing to a male that's shorter than 5'10"
Dang now I understand
Why do they make the loser stick around to raise the other person's hand when it's not a decision?
Because the audience is so dumb they need to see it that way
No they don't. You can just raise the winner hand.
imagine being Judo choke pinned to death by a girl with superior technique than you. It would mean you had lower experience
Why did nagatoro like nao kun in the first place?
>Why did nagatoro like nao kun in the first place?
because from the very first interaction of Naoto and Nagatoro- she saw that he was honest. That he wasn't faking much of his stuff- that even if he was a weeb loser, he was a true romantic. Nagatoro was already promiscuous before meeting him (as can be seen with Yoshi introducing her to many dudes), she just never felt "realness" from any of them. She was saying:
>you never put your heart into it
Unlike Naoto, who was pouring his heart and soul into every drawing of Nagatoro. It's a real romance story in my opinion.
That sounds better Gordon what others have said. Others have said he’s just good looking. I also started liking nao less when he stopped wearing his glasses
because the author realized he could make a lot of money by writing a story where a hot girl falls in love for no reason, with a loser self-insert for his audience
>cynicism masquerading as intelligence
All stories are what ifs made to placate someone. In most fiction that sells that girls are hot unless specified otherwise and the men are unremarkable everymen with your standard genre caveats. Go ahead and try to write a transcendent romance without using conventions. Spoiler: you can't.
>Why are men so insecure at the idea of losing to a woman in a fight?
not readin the rest of that. its because women are inferior to men. imagine a tiger losing to a rabbit.
>An intergender MMA bout between a plus-size model and a pornstar took place in Russia
So in other words, this would never happen in a proper fight. Dude looks near 50 as well.
>plus size model
explained why she won, probably had like 20kg up on him
>Zoomer questions
>Anyway, why is this such a common anxiety and insecurity for men?
Why is this even a question ?
>lose in front of your woman
>your woman automatically deducts several man points from you
>starts nagging, being b***hy and the relationship falls apart over time
opposite scenario
>you win
>your wife gets horny for you and perceives you as much more
Now you fight a woman and
>you win
>you gain nothing, you might even get mockery
>you lose
>you get mocked to hell by other men
>you become disgusting to women
>whatever you had for a fighting career becomes attacked on all fronts and it is now hard to get matches
It sucks balls being put in that situation in the first place. All social situations, especially for fighters contain tons of unwritten social rules that hit your career, self esteem, chance at sex and etc.
Avoiding the fight is by all means the better option.
It's like getting into rough arguments with a female colleague in the office. All the office protocols are aimed against you along with the entire social scene.
Because a teenager of fourteen or fifteen who has been in puberty for roughly a year should be able to beat a grown woman to deal more often than not. That is the difference in ability.
>deal
death*
I can handle myself in a fight, I'm just scared to beat up a girl. I've done it before and it's not a good look.
