You know it happened because of many factors, all of which would have been avoidable and even with all the unfortunate circumstances there was still a safety she could have used in her exact situation?
the one where this woman just wanders over to a loaded smith machine and decides to get her neck crushed as 200kg come down and smush her neck into the bench someone else left there to box squat while her kid watches
There was a guy who got paralysed and won millions in a 7 year long lawsuit, but his Smith machine had no safeties installed.

What is the deal with the useless moron that keeps starting to grab the bar to help, and then stopping to readjust his hair instead? How does someone end up so completely incapable of helping another human?
The readjusting the hair is a nervous tic, she's freaking the frick out. As for moving the bar, do you honestly think that an asian 13 year old lankey girl could move all that weight? Getting out of the way and allowing a second man in there was better.
there are safety locks on a smith, that people should use, but they don't. If they had them on like a normal brained person, then this chick would be alive
I'm the only person I know who uses them too. Peple are moronic. On the smith machine at my gym you need to put two plates under the front and two plates under the back of the bench to flat bench full ROM with safeties engaged homosexuals are too lazy to do this and just lift light weight instead then further perpetuate the notion that the machine is uselss or frick themselves and perpetuate the notion that it's dangerous. For one notch incline you don't need any it's just plug and play but tards still don't put them on.
Lots of people have a false sense of security and safety with Smith machines. It's why they giga load it in the first place. You won't be seeing them do that in a rack even with all the safeties in the world. They're not thinking of what is actually safe or even remotely reasonable. Those that do think they'll be able to use the hooks to catch themselves because they have no idea how their body will respond under real physical stress.
its not about the basedjaks
its about LE FREE SQUAT IS AKSHUALY REDDIT, SMITH MACHINE FTW!!! zoomer homosexuals invading the board because the ONLY fricking personality these fricks can have is LE IM LE CONTRARIAN XD
Is there a bigger DYEL signal than someone mentioning "stabilizer" muscles? I guarantee you can't point at on an anatomy diagram. It's so obvious you're a dyel.
if you want to run fast and jump high check out kneesovertoesguy on youtube, he had part of his kneecap blasted off and doctors told him he could never run or jump again, now hes dunking

If you believe this, you're moronic.
Been doing Zercher lifts of various sorts for 25 years and I've NEVER had any elbow problems from them. In fact, only elbow issues I had were from doing thick-bar pull-ups.
Why would I use a Smith machine when I can just resist the urge to ego lift on barbell squats and follow up with leg press to safely squeeze everything left out of my quads?
Smith machines are just straight up bad for compound lifts like squats.
The whole point of the squat is to tran your entire core and all your leg muscles to be able to stabilize and lift the weight at the same time. Forcing the bar into a straight line motion takes away most of the benefits of squatting, you might as well just do leg press
the smith machine is actually based because my apartment gym has one and it takes less than 2 minutes to go from shitposting to lifting with it. The closest gym with freeweights takes average 30 minutes to get to all said and done between traffic, finding a parking spot, walking from the parking spot, locking my wallet and keys, likely waiting once I get there for a rack to open up.
It's not that smith machine compounds are better, they aren't. It's just that I can do them at any time any day with no hassle for a workout that's 84.76% as effective as free weights when done correctly
Literally what is the point of using smith machine if not for the safeties? That's the only reason I use it instead of barbells. The gym at my work doesn't have a squat rack, or anyone I'd trust to help me if I needed it for that matter.
This can be true without the smith machine being ineffective to gain strength, size and definition. I use smith machine 4x per week for compounds and never seen anyone actually push themselves on it. Actually I barely see anyone use it at all, which is why Im always on it, that and the fact the small apt gym doesn't have freeweights. Smith machine compounds with cable isolations and weighted pullups is enough to get a decent physique ime. Maybe not elite tier but it gets the job done for normies.
Take any DYEL and have them do smith compounds, cable isolations and assisted->bodyweight->weighted pullups until they can hit solid intermediate standards e.g: 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 x bw compounds on the smith for reps and sets of 10 bw pullups. That guy won't be stepping on stage like that but he sure as hell won't be DYEL
I used a Smith machine once after I tweaked my back and it was such an unnatural path with the bar up. Felt so weird. It's actually pretty good for benching in though
Assuming you are using one with an angled barpath to closer mimic the actual motion of the bench press, and have safety/machine height adjusted to get full ROM it's decent for bench.
The biggest issue I noticed is you don't get use to the lift off and racking motions, since even at the top of the angled barpath it won't be bringing it back to eye level where you would be racking/unracking on the real bench. this might seem minor but you notice it going back to the bench press after doing smith chest presses only for a while
Ngl I'm afraid to use the smith guillotine after that clip
You know it happened because of many factors, all of which would have been avoidable and even with all the unfortunate circumstances there was still a safety she could have used in her exact situation?
what clip?

What a stupid c**t. The frick did she think would happen?
I never noticed that she didn't even move her hair out of the way. What sane female loads a bar onto her back right on top of her hair?
She ok?
What is the deal with the useless moron that keeps starting to grab the bar to help, and then stopping to readjust his hair instead? How does someone end up so completely incapable of helping another human?
That's her daughter moron
The readjusting the hair is a nervous tic, she's freaking the frick out. As for moving the bar, do you honestly think that an asian 13 year old lankey girl could move all that weight? Getting out of the way and allowing a second man in there was better.

I have literally never seen anyone used the safeties, EVER
Why is this, everyone uses the safeties on the regular racks
I'm the only person I know who uses them too. Peple are moronic. On the smith machine at my gym you need to put two plates under the front and two plates under the back of the bench to flat bench full ROM with safeties engaged homosexuals are too lazy to do this and just lift light weight instead then further perpetuate the notion that the machine is uselss or frick themselves and perpetuate the notion that it's dangerous. is that blood????
what kind of rom was that supposed to be anyway she was like 3 inches off the bench at the top
is that actually her child? fricked up if true
stabilisators
squats are for homosexuals
Smith machine actually forces you to lift the weight with your quads not hip hinge it up and it hurts peoples ego
This
spotted one here
>remove all stabilizing muscles from a lift
>Um akchually it’s harder because you can’t cheat on form
>1/4 reps another set of 225x5
Is there a bigger DYEL signal than someone mentioning "stabilizer" muscles? I guarantee you can't point at on an anatomy diagram. It's so obvious you're a dyel.
Imagine being so weak you need an excuse to justify using a machine to assist you
>Smith machine actually forces you to lift the weight with your quads
why would you want that
Why would you want less gains?
Post body
Or you could just front squat to use more quad but you're too pussy and lack the wrist and ankle mobility to do so.
so why can i lift more on the smith machine?
>smith machine
>hurts people's ego
nice bait
As a 5’8” white boy will doing squats help me be able to dunk?
if you want to run fast and jump high check out kneesovertoesguy on youtube, he had part of his kneecap blasted off and doctors told him he could never run or jump again, now hes dunking

Smith machine squats hurt and are dangerous. Just do it normally, your body will thank you in twenty years.

zercher squats are the safest
you can also easily let go of the weights if you do it above safeties and they don't get in your way
>how to ruin your elbow joints 101
>how to be a colossal homosexual 101
post wiener you reddit poser
DYEL spotted
>Pssshh sure owned that guy by calling him a dyel 50 years ago

>it didn't happen to ME
A lot of jiujitsu guys apparently use zerchers so your point is moot homosexual.
>you can also easily let go of the weights
You can easily let go of the weight in a back squat if you're physically literate
Lifting a measly 135 lbs and using a towel like a little pussy. Bad stock photo.
>zercher
>me in the back
me on the red shirt

Never seen anyone impressive looking, aesthetic or strength wise, use the smith machine
This can be true without the smith machine being ineffective to gain strength, size and definition. I use smith machine 4x per week for compounds and never seen anyone actually push themselves on it. Nothing wrong with it, weights are still just weights.
I just want a big free squat because it's fun.
