because their carbs aren't made from highly refined modified grains/wheats

because they don't use processed seed oils like canola oil

carbs aren't bad, poor quality food is bad

there are other reasons though, americans do not shame fat people. and, because of our car-heavy sprawling infrastructure, almost no one walks. walking after a meal does wonders for weight loss and general health. no one does that here

focusing on cico alone is stupid, so is focusing on sneed oils alone, or any other specific reason for that matter. in reality, most of the boogeymen that the schizos spout are true but they aren't the sole cause, rather they complement each other perfectly and it accrues overtime to what is now the obesity epidemic

It's literally this. This because highly processed sugars/carbs take less energy to digest and are trigger more "addictive" (only word I can find) responses in the brain making people overeat.
French take a long time to eat as well, we don't scoff down highly calorically dense foods in 5 minutes every half hour.
Simple carbs made from simple grains are not bad for you. Bread made from good flour/wheat is good, actually. Same as pastas and pastries.
Problem Americans have is that they basically drink litres of greasy oil with their spongy, highly processed sugar-filled breads.
      Quality of carbs/fats matters !

Yep. That and it's deep fried in literal motor (canola) oil and other sneed oils + what the other anon said about the living spaces being motorised vs walkable. Euros simply live closer to their work and so they bike or walk, which by itself does so much for health and staying in shape.

What do Russians eat? Russian males are 155 lbs on average. For comparison French are 170, Germany 180, Australia 190, USA 200. Even South Koreans weigh more on average. I know nothing about Russian food but they seem to eat a lot of soups and stews.

You can eat carbs if you don't lay around most of the day. Also it's not the same to have 1 dish with your lunch than eating the whole pot, you bunch of fatties.

    1. Most people walk everywhere in those countries
    2. In Japan people are constantly shamed for being fat so most people go out of their way to avoid being overweight. However, they're all skinnyfat.
    3. They're not that skinny unless they're young. It's just that a good number of people are fairly small relative to Americans.
    >includes multiple carbs like pasta, rice or pastries
How often do they really eat something like pastries? Pastries are junk food and any person who's smart about their diet will only have them occasionally. It's like pretending the cookie once a week is enough to matter in the long scheme of things.
    >pasta, rice
    or bread is what's common.

Europeans do a lot more walking and bicycling for transport rather than endless nonstop driving everywhere. This is very helpful for health. But any time you mention bicycling, walking, or "walkable city" on IST, the fitness board, everyone flies into a rage calling you a raging troony israelite nig homosexual libcuck

IST tells you to not skip leg day, while on /n/, everyday is leg day. Every single fricking day.
Fatties could lose weight faster by simply walking. Carrying their own huge body weight around is one hell of workout.
Hell, going out to grocery on foot alone is one hell of farmer walk challenge.
