HRT making you gain weight is a myth fatfricks say to justify eating like pigs
have you ever been anything other than skinny?
Yes, I was a fat kid and all the bullying made me do exercises and stop eating so much and lose weight because it's that simple
did you do this on testosterone or estrogen?
i do kinda wonder if theres been some underlying shift in the way i metabolise things im not aware of. gonna try and eat mostly meat and non-starchy vegetables soon rather than just diet. see if it affects me hormonally.
moron logic for morons
>did you do this on testosterone or estrogen?
NTA but both
Stop making excuses fatty
calories out>calories in
its not fricking hard
Cut off sugars and ease up on carbs, with some self-discipline it's not hard
there we have it obesity is cured journals can stop publishing and nutritional scientists can find new careers
If I was able to lose 100lbs that way then it's doable for everyone
Ur made to be a chubby tranner
i dont mind being a bit pudgy but if i wanna be shapely i need to lose and regain amab fat isnt pretty.
Because estrogen is lipogenic and downregulated thryroid hormones while testosterone is lipolytic and upregulates thyroid hormones. There is a reason why people recommend losing weight before starting HRT.
so worth taking T4/T3?
I'll never recommend those to anyone. If you want to lose weight just do a gradual caloric deficit with increasing cardio time.
any particular reason beyond, you know, heart failure?
that is hilarious bullshit
noted, will start starving myself
Yeah I looked at my weight charts and it’s actually like 5lbs up and down per week. Still can lose or gain a pound a day.
thats meaningless fluctuation, youre not losing anything but water weight and maybe visceral fat. subq fat is very slow to lose, you need to trigger specific hormonal conditions to get your body to shed it in significant quantities and even then were talking 2lbs a week as the limit of sane weight loss.
im a former fat frick with a lot of residual subq fat in unsightly places. im at 160ish, i wanna get down to 140 because i look disgusting atm. 5'10 with very little upper body muscle to give that context.
i take a multivit and i do not do low vegetable content meals.
OMAD only really works if you dont actually do anything tbqh.
OMAD is the thing that triggers burning of residual fat or actually it's the fasting, but it's not really possible to effectively fast without doing OMAD.
t. lost my residual fat with OMAD
i might try it when i get back to working proper then. no sense in dieting before i adjust back to work.
STOP EATING IT'S LITERALLY THAT EASY
>stop eating
>lose job because lol brain and body function reduced
lol
You can also just reduce it, stupid
ive been trying that you stupid frick, its why im asking this question
my weight is stable at 2 meals a day, working a mildly active job. the next step is OMAD, which i know from experience is rather rough on physical and mental capacities. its not as if ive never lost substantial amounts of weight before, i just seem to be really struggling to do it on estrogen.
So you started aggressive weight loss with normal BMI? If you are a fatty you don't get that when You only get sort of "food withdrawal" at max which is just mental, but stored fat in your body keeps you going easily until it's all burned out.
Also, remember vitamins, minerals etc. when dieting. They're important and don't make you fat, but lacking them may cause big problems.
I can gain 10 pounds every 5 days and lose 10 pounds every other 5 days. It’s not hard you just have to be in full control of yourself.
ignore morons
because ur hondosed
>In addition estrogen in the hypothalamus causes increased sensitivity to leptin which results in decreased hunger (anorexigenic effects) (Nedungadi & Clegg, 2009; Clegg et al., 2006; Mauvais-Jarvis, Clegg, & Hevener, 2013). The brainstem (specifically the NTS – nucleus tractus solitarius) is also a source of anorexigenic effects via the estrogen receptor (Mauvais-Jarvis, Clegg, & Hevener, 2013).

>Estrogen inhibits food intake, whereas progesterone and testosterone may stimulate appetite. [...] For instance, androgens may promote bulimia by stimulating appetite and reducing impulse control, a proposal supported by the observation that antiandrogenic treatment attenuates bulimic behaviour.

>300pmol/L trough 6 months in
i dont think im hondosed tbh. the weird thing is my appetite isnt actually high. i can comfortably go the bulk of the day without eating so long as im busy, but im just not dropping anything but waterweight.
if you take antidepressants its the antidepressants, not the hrt.
if you take just hrt do OMAD
if you take antidepressants get off them, they don't do jack shit, and then do OMAD
