That's completely false, you actually need to eat a lot of carbs in order to fuel those training sessions, listen to any modern bodybuilders or even not too old like Jay Cutler and you'll get an idea of how much you actually need to eat. Fats are actually the macro out of the main 3 you should eat the less.

I personally enjoy the tried and true as its what gave me the most results to be honest. Everyone wants to try all the fancy stuff and reinvent the wheel as that's what sells it to the dyels, but the reality is that most of the bodybuilding stuff has been figured out long ago. Sure, Ill try some stuff once in a while, but more often than not you quickly realize it's all scams.
Platz I highly respect though, love his enthusiasm, but he is quite old school imo. I did try some of the different forms he was using for hack squats for example, but personally I didn't think it was comfortable and made much of a difference to me. But I guess they don't call him the quadfather for nothing!
