They have the goal of getting nice asses and legs. If they used barbells and not tiny dumbbells or those meme bodyweight workouts, they would achieve this much faster
What other goal can you have in the gym besides developing your strength or growing muscle? Women, like men, just want to look better. A normal hypertrophy program is gonna be infinitely better for that than your average female fitness influencer's kettlebell meme workouts

There's this small qt3.14 on my gym that even OHPs. It's truly admirable.
I'm literally a twink who identifies more with women than men and I can tell you it is becuse it is clunky and not as easy to work with. You need a rack and everything. We just like to pick it up and put it down qjuickly
They have those things at the gym, you know. Also squatting a barbell is not cluncky if you're not ego-lifting

The kettlebell is just more versatile, you can do the exercise anywhere and you aren't restricted. Psychologically, it is just more appealing
There is nothing against the barbell, it is good, but there is just no need and the kettlebells are more flexible, so a lot gravitate toward them before the barbell
Barbells make you too muscular. If they touch them once they'll blow up into roid dolls.
Because they're scared of lifting with actual weight
a barbell is heavy (for women's standards). women don't want to do heavy work, ever.
they'd rather waste hours and hours doing the same monotonous movements for basically zero gain than to just do it right but actually have to put effort into it.
