Why do I feel so good?

I recently increased my vegetable intake to the recommended amount of eight servings, eating between one and two pounds of vegetables. What’s going on, I was told vegetables were a scam and only calories matter.

IIFYM crowd, carnivore crowd, Ray Peat. All the schizos on this board have said that vegetables are useless.

Nice placebo. 100 calories of skittles will have the same affect on your body as 100 calories of broccoli. Calories in < calories out.

I wonder if it's because you're getting some vitamins and minerals you weren't getting before. If you weren't drinking much water, maybe you're just better hydrated now, since vegetables carry water. Don't know, just a couple of guesses.

Maybe vegetables aren't absolutely necessary to a lifter's diet, but anyone who tells you vegetables are somehow bad for you is either a grifter or a dipshit. They'll say that, then slam their body full of pre-workout. Good stuff.

Likely a mix of Folate, vitamin e, a, and k, average person eating meat don't get much of those since they don't eat organ meats

          Marketing scam.
Most vitamins are useless garbage and basically as dust as far as your body is concerned.

Just eat egg yolks and get sun instead of using synthetic crap. Everything has to be a powder or a pill for you tards.

Yeah I can see that, probably magnesium as well. I always had a hunch it was low but I’m intolerant to the supplements.
I was also thinking just the fibre and reduction of fast digesting carbs (rice) lowered the pancreatic load.

You're having a slow release of panic hormones because of the increased glyphosate intake

Growing your own or buying local enough to be bale to view what is going on and have a relationship with the seller is your safest bet. Otherwise it's like trusting the word of the EPA on glyphosate when it's run by Monsanto-Bayer, the FDA on pharmaceuticals when it's run by Pfizer and the FCC on microwave radiation when it's run by telecom companies.

I’ve told this to all of my friends, the best cure for inexplicable depression is spinach. Vegetables aren’t great for bulking and shit but they are fantastic for helping your hormonal balance and getting in all the necessary vitamins. Eat more spinach, carrots, and onions is my take.

It’s something we all were taught at a base level, than some of tried to go deeper down the iceberg not realizing it was shills selling us a lie.

just the IST bubble for you

go to another media and they tell you that vegan, keto, carnivore or whatever BS is the ultimate diet
    when in truth
it's mostly just eat a balanced diet and you're (mostly) fine

      >gains optimized diet
Yeah I think that was the problem, even top guys will do a low fibre high carb cyclically. They’ll switch to “health phases” afterwards, I got lazy and just ate white rice, meat, and minimal veggies for years straight. Balanced diet and realizing there are no hacks and secrets is the real secret.
