Unless you do an organized 1-2 year long bulk followed by a organized ~6 month cut, you'll never look like you lift (the bulk and cut cycles will get smaller each time you do them)

The idea you can just go into the gym and eat whatever and escape DYEL is pipe dream. You unironically have to try and put effort into the diet side, way more than you actually think you need to.

If you don't know your calorie intake, you're not even trying.

The guys who can make it by just winging it are the exception to the rule.

This goes for both natural lifters and roiders, and the reason most natural and most roiders look DYEL is because they don't follow the simple requirement of needing to know your calories and macro intake. Sure some can get away with not doing that, but those guys are as I said the exception.

this. intuitive eating is a myth. you need to know at the base minimum your TDEE and your protein intake.
if you don't know either of those you're just going to the gym as a hobby.

        >intuitive eating is victim weight mentality

FTFY, but yes, it's just pure cringe.

      >bro just be obese for two years
      >and then starve yourself for 6 months
      >and then you can put on 5 pounds of muscle

meanwhile some zoomer does test for three months and eats donuts and chocolate milk and gains 20 pounds of muscle lean

Youre supposed to count calories as you bulk, and as you cut. You do it to maintain a set organised rate of gain, and a set organised rate of loss, and keeping calories and protein intake consistent is how you have consistent progress in the gym

Bulk is just a word for gaining.

Count your calories to have a controlled level of gain.

i guess you're referencing sam sulek- all his stories of eating like shit start in his last year of high school, before that he said he was eating plain eggwhites.
so he's likely been roiding for 3 years max at this point

he hasn't actually gained that much size compared to his diving years - which i'm assuming he wasn't roiding on but maybe his diving coach is the guy who got him started on the path of roiding to get him olympics ready.

Eating junk food doesn't make you fat, what makes you fat is eating too many calories

Eating junk will make you unhealthy, but it wont make you fat, so long as calories are controlled for.

Add muscle confusion and eating right/enough protein. You will need to research new lifts that target the same muscles that your current lifts are targeting and you should constantly modify your rep count. Number of sets can remain the same.

You’re not eating enough and you’re probably training irregularly and like a pussy. You should have known what you were doing was wrong after 3 months.

Probably doing some powershitter routine where all you do is squat twice a week and never go over 5 reps, if you want to look like a bodybuilder you need to lift like a body builder

Have you been progressively overloading? Eating enough food? Sleeping enough?
