Why do people bother with separate leg days when squats, Romanian deadlifts and maybe calf raises cover all your needs?

Why do people bother with separate leg days when squats, Romanian deadlifts and maybe calf raises cover all your needs? Even if you don't want to do them on the same day, you can for example squat on push day and deadlift on pull day.

              Are reverse hypers really as great as giys like louie simmons make them sound? I don't have the machine at my gym, but would just holding a dumbbell between my feet work? What about weighted hip thrusts?

              Reverse hypers are awesome for lower back pain and hip thrusts are great for glutes, not really comparable. Not sure what you mean with the db idea

      Yeah pretty much. Op as never looked at a powerlifting program in his life.
      It feels fricking awesome hitting squats, bench, and DL, then arm and shoulder accessories and walking out of the gym with the biggest full body pump on earth.
