It takes about 10 months for the follicle to regrow and even start to produce a new hair. So yeah I wouldn't expect to results from anything that regrows hair without at least 10 months of consistent use
10 months really? I have thick long hair that started showing norwood 2 vortex. I got on it and honestly I saw regrowth in half that. I did get a good shedding phase month 2-3 but after that my hair started to fill in. By month 5-6 I couldn't even see the vortex or norwood 2 anymore.

Yep i believe it's called anagen phase. It's length is genetic but it averages around 6-10 months and that's after those cells have started to wake up assuming the follicle isn't scarred in which case it will never grow another hair. But that usually only happens around the temples. Just accept mature hairline if you already have one.

If you want a non-schizo take on what to expect from finasteride, it'll pretty much just slow your balding down to a tiny crawl. Very few get regrowth. Side effects are of course blown out of proportion massively, but possible.

Don't take minoxidil, I was on that and it made me get weaker errections, I know it shouldn't be possible but it literally happend to me, since I stopped I get diamonds hard again.
