So the geniuses in the medical community decided that OzemPIG type appetite hormonal suppressants are “safer”. And they sell it to piggies by saying you’ll be in a cute bikini in a year lmao. it doesn’t do anything that not picking up an extra serving doesn’t.

Weight loss is zero effort. Literally just stop eating. I spent all of Lent only drinking water and electrolytes and exercising and I lost 30 lbs in 40 days. How easy is that? It requires more effort to eat than to not eat.

If 1 lb of fat is 3500 Cals, then 30 lb in 40 days suggests a TDEE of 2625 Cals. That's quite high in a fasted state but not impossible, especially since anon had 30 lbs of fat to lose. Note that muscle has far fewer calories than fat, so if anon lost some muscle the TDEE I calculated would decrease significantly. Whether anon actually did this is another question but I can totally believe the numbers.

I'm natty 4 lyfe but cutting during your first cycle is like a cardinal sin for /fraud/bros. Also some compounds will make you hungry as frick.
Now I can see the benefit of running something to promote recovery and injury prevention (ostarine maybe?) if you're struggling with that. Alternatively you can take things easy, even if it means slower progress.
And simply losing any extra blubber will boost your T significantly. Excess fat literally turns you into a girl (see Boogie's blood work) but most fatsos have elevated DHT levels so they don't fully troon.

People just get addicted to the gym and refuse to take days off, doing these 5 day training weeks with poor intensity, literally just get more off days and go to bed. These things are not safe period I had organ injury on a well monitored cycle.

People on Ozempic are consciously making the decision to no longer eat slop, just look at the subreddit. It forces you to eat healthier because stacking carbs and fat will give you nausea. It also helps with quitting alcohol and, to a lesser extent, cigarettes. Most negative side-effects are from consuming too much food, malnutrition, pre-existing conditions, and increasing your dose too fast.

            Anonymous

            >It forces you to eat healthier because stacking carbs and fat will give you nausea.
It primarily works by switching off appetite in the brain, not by nausea or gastroparesis which is a red herring, hence why it works as a generalised anti-gluttony and anti-addiction drug, the desire for excessive food and stimulus is turned off in the mind.

Look into what it does to bone density and muscle composition. You lose weight, but it isn't just fat, in fact it's disproportionately bone and muscle mass.

If the patient is morbidly obese and the only two options are ozempic or staying 500 lbs, then it's worth losing the bone mass cause they just need to lose weight in general. But otherwise no, it's not worth it.

Because it's moronic to take an appetite suppressant when you're obese. You don't learn anything and sides are more likely to occur, after they're off the meds they'll get fat again. The people who actually need appetite suppressants are those trying to get from like 11 to 7% bodyfat for a competition or something, not lardasses with no self control

      Anonymous

      >Because it's moronic to take an appetite suppressant when you're obese
probably isn't unless the side effects are too severe
iirc diets/the people taking them, fail 80-95% of the time in regards to lifetime habits
unironically thinking you will be in that 10-5% by sheer willpower is hubris tbqh
go for it anyway, of course as the alternative is obesity which is awful for several well known (including to the fatties) reasons, but it doesn't take a nobel laureate economist to realize the human animal is not well adapted to limiting their caloric intake

Maybe undisciplined boxers could benefit from it (like that shaggy MMA pikey who gets fat as frick in between fights). Compgay bodybuilders can handle hunger just fine. What fricks them over is the physical effects that come from getting comp ready. At least they can offset the extreme catabolism with gear but natty legends are absolutely fricked in that regard.

Obesity is literally a mental disease. It doesn't matter how easy it is for a 300 lbs obeast to shed weight, if the little gay homunculus behind the drivewheel keeps hitting taco bell over & over then it ain't happening without divine intervention.
