Keto is fine for weight loss, only morons fail it. Last cut I went on keto to get the final stretch finished and it was great primarily because of the appetite suppression, I had to force myself to eat 1500 calories a day because i wasnt hungry. It probably aint good as a long term diet tho and would be terrible for bulling/gaining muscle.
