Not if you work out at the same time. Honestly you lose way less muscle on a cut or fasting than what people think, and you regain it ridiculously fast.
I did and I lost a good amount of weight, but I swapped to calorie counting and lost the rest of the weight that way.
Now I’m just skinnyfat instead of regular fat.

I just eat below 2400kcal and if I can keep it up for 9 months then I'll reach my goal weight, simple is best for me cause I'm an autist who will stress out about anything more complicated then that.

Start with 16:8 and progress from there as you feel comfortable.
