because rice is tastier and digests better for most people
>Rice better than a nice plate of spaghetti
c r i n g e
Americans don't know how to cook pasta
They not only know how to cook it, they cook it better than whatever favela shit hole you're from.
Lol. Americans think they can cook, you black or something Black person? You can't cook for shit.
Americans are probably the worst cooks of the whole world
Every sort of food they touch becomes garbage
What irrelevant shithole are you from?
Puerto Rico
my condolences
I wouldn't laugh.
Muttmerica is about to become Brazil 2.0 in the next couple years
Britain
>Americans don't know how to cook pasta
You literally just boil it. Are we pretending this is hard?
the actual reason is that rice is lower calorie for the weight. Pasta will make you fatter. Even when bulking most people aren't trying to get fat.
>haven't seen any instant pasta yet that can do the same.
Uh-oh! Spaghetti-Os!
>Spaghetti-Os
fricking slop
>europoors have nothing to be proud of so they brag about boiling water like its some kind of skill
Never going to land on the moon. Never going to be able to own gun. Just lol at ur life bro
>because rice is tastier
lol no
>and digests better for most people
is this a non-white thing?
Pasta has much more calories. It's complicated in a cut
However pasta is super normal in bulking diets
>is this a non-white thing?
No, imbecile. Some people don't digest easily massive amounts of gluten, even those without proper allergies
>gluten
You're allergic to glyphosate and dwarf wheat, not gluten.
Wheat is the staple of Europe.
Loads of people get bloated from pasta but not rice. Most still eat pasta butt deal with the bloat.
But to answer OP's, no one is stopping you or giving I frick, pasta is delicious.
Because I suck at cooking pasta and most Italian restaurants near me serve me more pasta then chicken, therefore I will get fat and not strong. Although deep down I just want an Italian gf who cooks for me everyday
>Because I suck at cooking pasta
it's literally the same as rice though?
>most Italian restaurants near me serve me more pasta then chicken
you don't have to finish the entire plate anon. just eat the chicken and some of the pasta.
Pasta is the most brainlet tier easy food to prepare. How can frick up boiling water for 8 minutes
i have two wheels in my kitchen. one has rice, pasta, potatoes, and bread on it, the other has chicken, beef, fish, and eggs. i spin both wheels, and i eat whatever they land on. its the only way a lazy tard like myself can avoid eating spaghetti and chicken breast every single meal
what happens when you get an 8 day eggs and pasta streak, do you continue to obey the wheel?
it dont matter.
Rice/pasta/potato
chicken/red meat/fish
Vegetable 1/ vegetable 2 / vegetabile 3
Pick one from each category.
It really is that easy.
Based.
Dare if I say, I would also add milk (or a tea with slice of lemon)
This.
People make this shit out to be way more complicated then it needs to be.
this. when I PT people I tell them to shop for their meat first(you can often find heavily reduced meat in AU, i love that about this place), then think about what carb they want to make it into a meal and add veggies. That said, newbies often give a blank stare even keeping it this simple.
I got a meat grinder and make my own lean pork mince I use for spaghetti often. It's pretty nice for bulking but I prefer whole slow roasted sweet potatoes as my staple carb most of the time.
The simple answer if that you're a cooklet and don't know any recipes that involve chicken and pasta. There's plenty. Fettuccini alfredo is very often paired with chicken.
The longer answer is that rice and chicken combine nicely because they take a similar amount of time to cook (assuming you browned the chicken first) and rice absorbs the water it cooks in rather than boiling in it like pasta. If you were to add chicken to pasta water you'd end up with boiled pasta. So if you're going to make a dish with pasta and chicken, you need to cook each separately first, which is sadly too much effort for most people.
Pasta with chicken is some real unholy shit
Frick this guy so much
>don't know any recipes that involve chicken and pasta.
You don't eat chicken with pasta, Tyrone.
I do, cry about it Luigi
The italian chicken sausage and egg noodle pasta I made last night I am eating on my cut (I have lost 30 lbs in 6 months)
Teh!!! horror!!!!!1
That's not chicken and pasta. That's chicken, pasta, tomato sauce, probably a ton of oil, a ton of cheese, and that's just what I can see.
do people like this understand that a majority of food with made with some kind of fat/oil at some point? There are few foods which don't involve it.
Most Americans are also disgustingly obese and have heart disease or diabetes.
Your point?
If you can't figure out why those two things don't have any correlation I can't help you.
>fat is the most calorie dense macro
>it's also needed in very little amounts
>it also causes heart disease and diabetes when paired with sugar
It's very hard to figure this one out.
One tablespoon of oil to fry sausage and garlic in is is 130cal. 10g of parm is 45cal. Half a jar of sauce is 250cal.
You’re just a dumb fat frick who can’t into math, and again, im losing weight eating this— no matter how much it makes you seethe
I do this. Idk what the issue is. Count your calories for it into macros if you want to have more just go on a fricking walk or two to offset it. I find it super filling, hit my goals whether it’s cutting or bulking pretty easily. Pasta isn’t bad especially if you make it all from scratch. Just practice portion control, you don’t need to have a family sized serving…
I do, it’s good.
>dumps 1/2 the container of 15 random spices onto single chicken breast
>adds 1/4th cup of salt
>adds butter
>does the same to veggies but with 2-4 sticks of butter
>calls store bought pasta real but can’t follow the piss easy recipe
>same with sauce, has never tasted fresh sauce made with self produced tomatoes
>wipeepo caint cook y’all stole all y’all’s food from us and ashunz who were also black btw
Simmer down Da’Quaron Beasley. Black Americans only good food is the macaroni and cheese. Everything else you fat morons make is just throw 1000 spices in random (usually large) amounts with no logic behind it and add butter and then say it’s good because of all the tastes from the various spices. The only good black food is that of Caribbean folk (Bahamian, Haitian, Jamaican, etc) which largely has ties and influence from Europe anyways.
You morons also call it spicy or hot when it’s not it’s just a shitty choice of spices and seasonings that don’t mix well. Try eating Carolina reaper if you want to make “muh okay mayonnaise is too spicy for you” argument
>So if you're going to make a dish with pasta and chicken, you need to cook each separately first, which is sadly too much effort for most people.
??? Boiling pasta takes about as much time as boiling rice, a little less. Making chicken and pasta takes the same time as making chicken and rice. Just boil the pasta, put it on a plate and throw some sauce or ketchup on it.
I think I'll just stick with the rice. Pasta with chicken and ketchup sounds like something that should result in Gordan Ramsay jumping out of your fridge to beat you to death.
>Pasta with chicken and ketchup
I do it everyday
>Boiling pasta takes about as much time as boiling rice, a little less.
Much, much less
>boiling your pasta for 20 minutes
>cooklet
It's "you don't know how to cook". Alternatively, you can say "you can't cook". 'Cooklet' is not a fricking word and it will never be a word. I'm so goddamn sick of you chronically online losers butchering the English language
Same to you.
>t. slanglet
you can buy instant rice that just requires nuking in the microwave.
haven't seen any instant pasta yet that can do the same.
also i don't eat rice i eat sweet potato coz rice triggers my numbers autism
I eat my pasta without any seasoning, not even salt. I boil it and then it goes straight into the plate. I trigger wops, mutts, and blacks just by existing.
Eat it out of the boiling water like a man, pleb.
>Eat it out of the boiling water like a man, pleb.
Rice you can eat with a little onions sauce and be fine. Pasta needs some kind of added fat to be palatable.
It just needs tomato sauce, its 20-30 calories per 100g
I think the assumption is that pasta has a higher GI value than rice since it's a more processed grain product. I don't know if it does nor do I really care
it's more of an engrained tendency of body building culture like not spicing your chicken
The real answer is because most people can’t cook. The macro difference is negligible. Ive been losing weight for months and I still have fat plates of chicken sausage and pasta. I just eat lighter throughout the day.
Because of caloric density, compare 100g of rice vs pasta after cooking. That being said, it's not complicated to make it fit in a diet plan.
I do that though. Made One-Pot chicken parm last night, making chicken and apple pasta tonight with a gorgonzola sauce. Shit's delicious.
shut up revival fitness
IST loves rice because it makes them feel like they’re eating thousands of their own dick.
incredible form
All pro strongmen eat white rice as a staple carb. Pasta is suboptimal because of the gluten, in big amounts it causes digestive unrest. It's fine if you eat portions fit for a 130 lbs italian though
What the frick are you talking about moron? Are you being forced at gunpoint to use rice? Is pasta illegal in your shithole? have a nice day. What an utterly moronic fricking Black person thread. You are a worthless b***h ass Black person. Your life literally is as valuable as a summer ant.
Enjoy diabetes
A small rice grain has less carbs in it than a longer twisty piece of pasta.
i eat pasta every day. 160g of dry spaghetti with some chicken and tomato sauce. i haven't gotten bored of it. it's so tasty. the salty chicken, the smooth (olive oil), garlicy sauce, a mountain of spaghetti... yum every time.
cause its cheaper frickhead
>cause its cheaper frickhead
>rice & chiccy
Taste good together
>pasta & chiccy
An insult to both of them
That simple.
Rice is cheaper and easier to get where I live (Brazil) even though I prefer pasta, I get like 30-40kg of rice every month for free basically while 1kg of pasta will cost the same as 5kg of rice
Potatoes >>>
Rotate between rice and pasta at your own discretion. I cannot fathom being unable to make a pasta + meat dish. If you're from a poor country, that's fine, but adding pasta as a carb source literally 10x's your meal variety without adding any extra work. You Black folk are something else man
why never pasta, or pasta, or pasta, or pasta or pasta
99% of people can't cook
rice is not a complex carb so it won't make you fat and is easier to digest.
You will hold more water due to the wheat. Pasta is for off season bulks.
Rice is more nutrient dense. Pasta is fine though as long as you have other ways of getting your nutrients.
>processed wheat/grain/corn
enjoy your noodle arms
my bf does
Rice is cheap, easy to store and nobody is allergic to it. That's it.
Rice works without a sauce while pasta is pretty terrible without it.
And we have the answer.
Cooklets can't sauce, meanwhile you can drench rice in onions sauce and get a 7/10 dish.
I bought two packs of whole grain spaghetti as a result of this thread. Thanks, OP.
