I’m on 1mg of fin and 2.5mg of minoxidil and I know people on it (although a lower dose) who report no side effects but I noticed the lessened libido and wiener problems. The transplanted hair is resistant, you get told to take fin because the hair behind the transplanted hair will likely fall out sooner or later and then it will look weird but i've seen guys who have never taken fin or any drugs and still kept a decent level of hair. Personally i wouldn't take any drugs like fin/min. Hair transplant for me next year and then hopefully hair cloning or some other cure comes out in another year or two after that otherwise a 2nd transplant and then after that already old so let it go.
people get great results microdosing fin and min topically without getting systemic absorption. you can look it up but I think the dose was equivalent to 0.15 mg of finasteride topically and it suppressed like 70% of the DHT levels in the scalp while barely doing anything to serum DHT levels. topical minoxidil doesn't really have any serious side effects you need to worry about but if you're scared of it you can just dose it once a day instead of twice and still get results.

Minox fricks up your face skin BTW, it caused wrinkles for me and made me look like an old 30s man in my early 20s, even though I've always had a baby face. Also I am going to bed king but I want to remind you that I am 80% more likely than the general population and 15% more likely than your average Caucasian man to experience androgenic alopecia via my inherited sensitivity to DHT. My hairline would not just “mature” I would probably suffer diffuse patterned loss until I was eventually norwood 7 just like my dad’s dad. The transplanted hair is resistant, you get told to take fin because the hair behind the transplanted hair will likely fall out sooner or later and then it will look weird but i've seen guys who have never taken fin or any drugs and still kept a decent level of hair. Personally i wouldn't take any drugs like fin/min. Hair transplant for me next year and then hopefully hair cloning or some other cure comes out in another year or two after that otherwise a 2nd transplant and then after that already old so let it go.
people get great results microdosing fin and min topically without getting systemic absorption. you can look it up but I think the dose was equivalent to 0.15 mg of finasteride topically and it suppressed like 70% of the DHT levels in the scalp while barely doing anything to serum DHT levels. topical minoxidil doesn't really have any serious side effects you need to worry about but if you're scared of it you can just dose it once a day instead of twice and still get results.

Minox fricks up your face skin BTW, it caused wrinkles for me and made me look like an old 30s man in my early 20s, even though I've always had a baby face. The wake up moment for me was when a woman was sincerely not believing I was in my 20s because of how it aged my face. Fortunately most of it reversed after I stopped it, but I still got those forehead wrinkles and eye bags under my eyes like I'm always sleepy. I'll start with my reasoning. When I think of people balding I immediately think of gamers, you know they type. Stuck in a dark room and eat like garbage. At first thought you might think that your diet has most to do with it and, it probably is a contributing factor. But, there are people that go bald who have great diets.
