What does Roger Estep have to do with rippebreasts?
Is that what is all about, shills convincing people that rip ever looked like this?

Looks like you never had an low bar squat induced elbow tendonitis
I can confirm that it hurts like frick. Once it goes away from rest it comes right back up when you load that +380lbs on your back. Cant squat cant bench cant ohp.

However its now almost completely healed, from the chin up protocol. here is more info

Its similar to the Pin Firing of horses where you induce extra inflammation to the area of tendons so it can heal.

All in all Ripp is a true genius (in his field) and I couldn't appreciate more what he has done to the industry. Thank You.
    God Bless Mark.

I don't know why tf does Ripp keep suggesting chins every time someone brings up epicondylitis, when even on his own blog it's listed as a last resort method because of how painful it is.
One of Ripp's coaches lists bench pressing with a tempo of 3-1-2 as a good method to rehabilitate from golfer's/tennis elbow before trying chins, so of course go with that first.

            Anonymous

no i swear it was the only thing that helped me
i tried to let it rest for almost a year, i tried rehab where you turn the a hammer in your hand (if you have golfer elbow you know what i mean) i streched daily i even bought some shity msm and glucosamine creme and pills
            nothing worked
the pin firing method acutally worked

i dont know if it helps everybody or at every state of tendon pain
i had pain when i wasnt lifting even so

i got a another tendon injury on the other sides and this time i literally just worked through it
lowered weights and upped volume and it im good after a 3 months

            resting will do nothing
            rehab might work for some

      I kinda believe this

      >Why the frick is this guy ever considered an authority on lifting? Where are his credentials and results
You are a stupid person, but smart people can evaluate ideas based on following their logic and don't need "credentials" to determine whether or not to listen to someone.

      >smart people can evaluate ideas based on following their logic
You are a midwit that doesn't know the meaning of moral highground and authority. There are hundreds of fitness gurus out there and we don't have the time to listen to all of them, compare them, try them all and discussing about it in Indian street food forums like four channel dot com; so looking at their bodies, which is the first credential any people giving fitness guidelines presents, is a perfect way to filter out potentially bad takes

So why low bar squat in a powerlifting competition? Because you can lift more? Then why not do it normally?

I had elbow tendonitis and chin ups healed it, try it our speaking from experience, Rippetoe knows what he's talking about unlike subhuman morons here that bench 185 after five years of lifting.

      Anonymous

Not sure if I believe the chinups but I can't definitely confirm that rest is 100% worthless and that the symptoms will always come back regardless of stretching and rehab unless you give up squatting heavy altogether. might actually try the chinups in that case.

I got elbow tendonitis from and did a ton of chins and it got better quite fast.
I treated Achilles tendonitis and various sprains and tears the same way and it healed quick and good.
The trick is to find the right movement that gets blood to the area without aggravating the tendon.

He laid his foundation when the internet was young. It was easy as frick back then as long as you looked "strong" and you spoke with confidence. Alan Thrall was one of these examples, he talks about it in his recent videos, the bar was so fricking low back then.

I have a cure for that shit which takes less than an 8th the effort while providing immediate results. Cured my elbow issues within a month.
    >voodoo floss
Look it up. Go on Amazon buy the cheapest brand you can find it’s all the same shit. It’s different than a fitness band there every little elasticity in it. Has to be actual voodoo floss to work right. Can be used on various parts of the body for various issues.
Look up how to use it for your exact issue. Generally you wrap it above and below the joint, do like 1x30 arm flexions then take the band off. Forces blood into the joint, makes the pain go away, reduces inflammation. Will provide immediate relief. Consistent use made my elbow stop hurting after a month.
