You can get the same ROM based off hand placement
Only fatties hate doing these since they realize they are too fat to do them.
you can never achieve a similar ROM to a barbell OHP doing these because your head is in the way. why are you guys saying moronic shit when everyone knows what you're saying is untrue? further, why are two of you equally fricking moronic and saying the same moronic thing seemingly without cooperation?
You know this can be resolved by simply stacking boxes or pads left and right of you so that your head won't get in the way. As long as you don't live in a house for midgets this shouldn't be an issue.
Do you not own things? You can put two bag of trash and do it, you can get two brick from your wall and do it, you can use everything that can hold your weight.
While to do oph, you need a shitload of clean metal, and a rack

this is such a moronic line of argument. you're holding both examples to completely different standards because you're either moronic, purposefully bad-faith, or both.
>just pull some bricks from your wall to perform handstands on >just pull some bricks from your wall to build a pseudo-rack >fashioning a rack out of wood and buckets of cement >you don't need a rack, just clean from the floor >just clean a wooden stick with bricks attached to the ends in place of a barbell
wow, i can also be moronic but the difference is that i would be embarrassed attempting this argument and you aren't.

Why don't you post a video of yourself trying this in your house using bags of trash without busting your ass you moronic sperg
So you can jump through all kinds of hoops creating some sort of jerry rigged stands so you can mimic the ROM of an OHP and still be limited by the fact you're fricking upside down with blood rushing to your head and you have only one weight, your own. Or you can just do fricking OHPs
You can do weighted with a belt, stop being a fat homosexual.
so the one benefit that your OHP alternative has (no equipment needed) actually does need equipment then? again, why would i ever do these?
The boxes / pads cost nothing compared to a bar and weights.

comparison of cost means nothing if both are deemed negligible. give me the entire shopping list of a rack/cage, barbell, weight, and it doesn't make a difference because i can afford it ten times over if i needed to. your assertion is that handstand pushups are superior, so much so that OHP is redundant, not that you can (with equipment) perform a similar movement as a calisthenics variation. my question is WHY would i ever do handstand pushups if i can OHP? you original statement implies it's because they're better but the entire time you're running around defending how they're essentially the same.

okay moron, no wonder you're a fat frick that can't do this.

>he's poor
kek, you bodyweight shilling fricks always are. accessibility is a pro but it doesn't not make the movement superior. i've given you ROM and loading potential, two key factors in building muscle and strength. all you've done is attempt to recreate the OHP because you can't afford the equipment. again, that doesn't qualify as being a superior exercise.

You absolutely cannot without fricking destroying your rotator cuff. Just because you reach the same depth of ROM doesn't mean its an equivalent movement.
because OHP gives you more range of motion and flexible loading. why would you ever do these?
Just put your hands closer together and you can get the same range of motion. But i don't don't do that cause I can't OHP my fatass yet.

Because I don't want to.
There is no worse feeling than being upside down and feeling the blood pressure spike in my brain
seething powershitters itt
> he can't HSPU on one arm
NGMI
>he hasn't surpassed OHP'ing his bodyweight
Do you even lift?
I do both handstand pushups and dumbbell press.
