            Vegetables do a better job at giving you nutrients and fiber, and meat of any kind is better at giving you quality protein and some calories. Besides, too much sweet on one meal for my taste.

    The anti-bacon and generally anti-meat propaganda is coming from a global leftist initiative to get people to switch to a 100% plant based diet.

    The goal is for the population of the world to become weak and easy to enslave. Don't believe it. Meat is good for humans, period.

    So no, eating bacon (or beef) in and of itself isn't going to kill you. A diet where you consume too many calories will make you fat. Fat has the most calories per volume by a long shot. So if you eat a lot of fat, you will be eating a lot of calories, which over time will make you fat and that will make you sick and kill you.

    I will never understand people enjoying fat on their meat. Yes it gives the meat more flavor when cooked but willingly consuming chunks of it with the meat is fricking gross. On the rare occasion I do have bacon I only eat the parts with meat and dispose of the fatty ends.
