Hammer curls only work a single muscle in the forearm, a narrow strip called the brachioradialis. The muscles worked in the wrist curl not only oppose the brachioradialis, but it opposes half of the forearm flexion muscles.
Not if you don't particularly care about forearm development but along with hammer curls and maybe some sort of isometric holds they are probably the most effective.
>Heavy lat pulls or Deadlifts if you do them >only 1 major grip intensive exercise required as the main course like the 2 listed above >finish >immediately grab some weight to reverse curl >fail >hammer curl it >fail >immediately wrist curl and wrist extend that same weight >fail
It's as easy as that. After you do your main exercise, it is so quick to run down through these different movements back to back rapid fire. You'll milk everything you can out of each of them and can complete the entire thing in only a few minutes. If you care enough to get even more gains you can add in pronation and supination training. You'd be blown away by how weak those muscles are. Adding in the pronation and supination training will work every forearm muscle. Nobody except arm wrestlers seem to work the pronation or supination, though. Supination MIGHT be worked when doing curls if you specifically cue yourself to supinate as heavily as possible for doing them, but it doesn't compare to specific training. Pronation/supination training sucks to do though. No good and easy exercise to just do them quick and be done with it afaik
Right? always hated how the default answer for forearms is always >heavy deads
frick off. My forearms are sticks. Deadlifting wont fix them. Do fricking curls just like any other muscle in the body, you need to work them in order to grow.
Then get jacked as shit, maybe hop on gear too.
Just know that you will look poor and people will think you're poor.
No rich man looks like the hired goons he uses as body guards. At best they're ottermode.
Just do dumbbell hammer curls
This.
Also deadlifts/farmer walks absolutely blew up my forearm size.

If you want to rape choke a woman to death yes.
Ok thanks
Yes training your forearms will make your forearms bigger
never seen anyone above 120lbs doing these
Nah, just do pull ups
If you want tendinopathy, sure
GDE
Yes, along with reverse wrist curls.
There is always some disagreement on any particular exercise, but this is one of those exercises I really never see any consensus whatsoever.
Try doing the thing where you wind up a weight connected by a rope to a stick. (Being asian isn't necessary but maybe it helps idk)
Only if you want better grip strength and bigger forearms.
Grip strength is not related to wrist flexion
Wrist Curls strengthened my grip a lot.
I swear by wrist curls.
How many filters are you on brah?
One shitty samsung from 2018
He could lose some weight.
Looks like your wrists are wearing diapers mate. Lay off the curls.
wild BD sighting? werent you growing rn?
I feel like they do nothing for the upper side of my forearms, only for the underside

> people still offer shit advice like lat pulls, deadlifts and farmers walks for forearm stimulation on this shithole
What do you suggest then anon? I am a wristlet and want bigger forearms
forearm fingertip curls/finger curls/wrist curls
> 0:14
?t=14
wrist curls
?t=27
wrist roller
> 6:08
?t=368
Hammer curls
> 1:56
?t=116
Thanks, appreciate the effort. Is there any meaningful difference between these and dumbbell wrist curls?
I find reverse curls easier on the wrists, but YMMV

big forearms make you look poor
being jacked in general makes you look poor
ottermode is the most you should ever be if you want to still look like you make money
I want to look like I can snap your spine with my bear hands
Then get jacked as shit, maybe hop on gear too.
