I'm 6'8" 235 12% and can do 15 bw pullups, and 8 pullups with 45 lbs attached. Stop using your height as an excuse - even when I bulk to 270s 20ish% bodyfat I can bust out 9-10
well, pullups are in principle harder for taller people due to longer arms. But I already responded to that coper being 2" taller than him and still being able to do pullups. Unless you weigh 350+ there is no excuse to not be able to do atleast a few pullups
>>yeah bro i deadlift 400lb >>cant do a single pull up
I can deadlift 540lbs beltless and can also do 10 pullups. Also 400lbs is not an impressive deadlift
Just bang out as many as you can after your set of deadlifts.
I used to say the same thing. It gets way easier fast and i think it grows the lats faster than lat pulldown.
I went from barely doing 1 to being able to do 8 in less than a month.
>Because I'm 6'6" and weigh 250lbs. I'm not a child like you that's the size of a gremlin.
do if we had to go over a wall to survive you would die, and i would live, simple as homosexual, gorillas are huge and can still lift themselves, you are just pathetic and weak gym homosexual... i can do 10 good form pull ups, i can also carry 200kg+- of firewood in a wheel barrow, for an entire day, easy, can also run 10k easy, that's real strength, the capacity to produce output, actually labor, actual work, actual survivability, is lifting a ton impressive, yes, but what's the point if you can't outrun a predator? "but i'm tall", "but i'm strong" cope more homosexual, you are just a big fat mother fricker
Anon posts legitimately impressive stats and a skinny homosexual calls him fat. Typical.
Note that he used bodyweight ratios instead of posting absolute strength and didn’t even post pull-up count.
Anon, you gullible fricker, everyone in this thread is a larper. You just don't have enough experience to recognize the clues. >fraud heights: 5'10", 6'2", recently 6'4" >fraud dicks: 7", 8" >fraud chin ups: 15, 20
It's always a nice number. You never see anyone say like "I can do 13" it's always 12, 15, 20... Common rep ranges
I can't do a single pull-up. 5'8" 180 lbs. I practiced for roughly a month, and now I can still only do half a chin-up (can't raise my head above the bar).
Ngl I was absolutely baffled when my 5'4" buddy slammed out 12 reps in a row, despite being the same weight as me.
pull ups are harder the bigger you are, for lanklets even more because of the range of motion is huge. NBA players struggle with pull ups too, you will be amazed but is true. Any person over 2 meters who says they can do 15-20 pull ups is bullshitting you
currently I can only do about 12, but in my hungry skeleton teenage years I could do 30. I used to do 10 pullups from the rafters every time I got a soda from the garage refrigerator, and I drank probably 5 sodas per day, so I had pretty good volume work.
I just came in here to tell you all i can do single armed pull-ups, deadlift 200kg and squat 2x bw. Train harder. Ps you can do pull-ups everyday multiple times a day.
Are there many such cases? I don’t know that there are. I’m closing in on a 500 deadlift and can do at least 15 pull-ups, and I don’t even train that seriously (although I’ve been at it for like 5 years). I don’t know a single 4pl8 deadlifted who can’t do one pull-up lol
>they pull sumo >powershitter that has never seen a treadmill and eats a fricking poptarts between sets and takes 20 min rest to do the sloppiest form ever imagined contained within the IPFrules
>tall lanky homosexual here, how does one get better at pull ups?
easy, if you are a tall heavy mother fricker you need to start by doing Australian pull ups, eventually you will be able to do a couple of pull ups, once you can do a couple it's simple progression...
>Google Australian pull ups >first image
I assume it's just a pull up with your legs resting on the ground and the death trap with the chairs and a bar are optional.
Imagine you are about to fall to your death and you are not able to pull yourself up. Embarrasing, all those years in the gym and you cant lift your body
because lifting weights is easy but controlling your diet is hard in today's society
anyone can go into the gym and bust their ass and try to lift as heavy as possible for a few hours a week, not being a fatass takes 24/7 mindfullness and commitment to making good dietary choices
Because I'm 6'6" and weigh 250lbs. I'm not a child like you that's the size of a gremlin.
LMAO
if you cant pull yourself then its over anon. if you are bigger then you should be stronger, in the most important place like your back.
>can't even lift themselves.
Never going to make it.
>runs out of breath
I'm 6'8" 235 12% and can do 15 bw pullups, and 8 pullups with 45 lbs attached. Stop using your height as an excuse - even when I bulk to 270s 20ish% bodyfat I can bust out 9-10
>235 lbs
Skeleton begone
19" arms lean, over 2/3.5/5/6 and as said I can bulk to 270 with abs still showing so I don't care about your dyel fatty opinion
Nobody believes you. Post body. You won't.
cope sneed and dilate
post body anon.im actually curious because i havent met a lot of giants who can do that ammount of pull ups.
These stats including height would place you in the top 10 of humanity. Post body.
Mike o hearn posts on here?
Post physique. I'm 6'6" and want to see what an absolute unit looks like
>I'm 6'6
Bullshit.
Also, Arnold at his peak was 6'2 and 260lbs. He did 50 pullups per day to grow his lats.
is that really all that arnold did to grow his lats?
is it really, tho?
that's really the only thing he did?
He also posted BBC memes on the internet.
I'm 5'6 and weight 250lbs and I can do pullups.
>not many
well, pullups are in principle harder for taller people due to longer arms. But I already responded to that coper being 2" taller than him and still being able to do pullups. Unless you weigh 350+ there is no excuse to not be able to do atleast a few pullups

No, you are just a fat
400lbs is impressive. Yours is just more impressive.
I've known some seriously strong dudes who I wouldn't call fit. It's a big brag to be both.
Cope
>0 rep
Doesn't even go over the bar. Kicks. Better than nothing. But he didn't do a single rep.
Ok fat
I'm 95kg and do 3 sets of 8 with an added 30kg. You are just weak
FAT AS FUGGGGG
>can lift 400lbs
>gets pushed into a ditch
>dies of starvation
OH NONONO POWERLIFTER BROS, WE ARE GETTING HUMILLIATED
Just bang out as many as you can after your set of deadlifts.
I used to say the same thing. It gets way easier fast and i think it grows the lats faster than lat pulldown.
I went from barely doing 1 to being able to do 8 in less than a month.
>haha I am dysfunctional and big
You are weak pound for pound. You will lose to a trained manlet.
im 160lb and do weighted chin ups with 100lb added, you are just weak
>Short stubby arms so smaller lever
Kek you can't be this stupid can you little guy? My wingspan is 7.2 feet. Almost double your size widdle man
Unsane ammounts of copium
I’m 6’4” 170 and my 1rm is +115lbs, you’re just neglecting lats if you’re weaker than me
yeah,I'd bet that only 150 lbs of that can be considered muscle KEK
>Because I'm 6'6" and weigh 250lbs. I'm not a child like you that's the size of a gremlin.

go fight for/against ukraine you pathetic larper and gtfo this board
Brother I'm the same height as you and when I was 250 LB (cut to 230 please clap) I could hit 8 pullups for max reps.
Anon look at all the manlets your triggered.
He's 6'6 past the point where it becomes an advantage in every way.
I bet you look like dog shit
I'm 6'7" 230 and I can do 10 chinups, 6-7 strict.
I'm that poster. Chinups are easy. I can do 20 chin ups.
5'10 260 lbs
I deadlift 545 and can do 15 pullups
post body anon because i think you are really fat with that height and weight.
I am fat as frick. But I am also strong as frick. I'm working on the fat part though... Currently on a cut that's going to last a while.
The OP is about being strong and doing pull-ups, not being a skinny frickboy with abs.
I swear most of you guys need to head over to IST/hm/ for the content you are seeking. IST is about fitness, not sexy little twink abs.
you're still a fatty frick lol.
deadlifting twice my bodyweight is my warmup
wow you deadlift 275lbs for warmup? impressive
Anon posts legitimately impressive stats and a skinny homosexual calls him fat. Typical.
Note that he used bodyweight ratios instead of posting absolute strength and didn’t even post pull-up count.

It's always a nice number. You never see anyone say like "I can do 13" it's always 12, 15, 20... Common rep ranges
for what reason is 12 a nicer number than 13?
please explain your reasoning
x bw is a sure sign of a dyel, newfren
That's what 1/2/3/4 refers to.
Post vid
Crazy it's almost like deadlifts and pull-ups use entirely separate muscle groups
I've done 20 chins and I pull 650.
Deadlift improves chinsups/pullsup better than doing chinupd/pullups.
pull ups are harder the bigger you are, for lanklets even more because of the range of motion is huge. NBA players struggle with pull ups too, you will be amazed but is true. Any person over 2 meters who says they can do 15-20 pull ups is bullshitting you
pull ups are for normies
>yeah i weight 300 lb
>my height is 2 meters
>i can totally do 30 pull ups but i will not post body haha
Goblin manlets are notorious liars. They tell tall tales.
currently I can only do about 12, but in my hungry skeleton teenage years I could do 30. I used to do 10 pullups from the rafters every time I got a soda from the garage refrigerator, and I drank probably 5 sodas per day, so I had pretty good volume work.
6'1" 175lbs 420 deadlift 1rm and can do 15 pullups and climb v7
Black person
Deadlift PR is 440x5. Weigh 195 @ 5'10. Can widegrip pull-up x15 after deadlifting.
I just came in here to tell you all i can do single armed pull-ups, deadlift 200kg and squat 2x bw. Train harder. Ps you can do pull-ups everyday multiple times a day.
>19” arms lean, over 2/3.5/5/6 and as said I can bulk to 270 with abs still showing so I don’t care about your dyel fatty opinion
their body is living, not dead. if they practice alivelifts they'll improve pullups
>many such cases
No, there aren't.
More like
>Yeah I can do 10 pullups but can't pull 315
Are there many such cases? I don’t know that there are. I’m closing in on a 500 deadlift and can do at least 15 pull-ups, and I don’t even train that seriously (although I’ve been at it for like 5 years). I don’t know a single 4pl8 deadlifted who can’t do one pull-up lol
>53 replies
>no videos
The autist will be in here shortly, at least he'll post a fricking video
do you mean me?
Because you didn't train your back. DL is a glutes+hamstring+quad+spinal erector exercise.
shut up
No FRICKING way
Why are you testing your 1rm pullup instead of gaining about 50 lbs
Deadlifted 405 about 1.5 months ago. Haven't tried a 1rm since and can do 10 pull ups
>they pull sumo
>powershitter that has never seen a treadmill and eats a fricking poptarts between sets and takes 20 min rest to do the sloppiest form ever imagined contained within the IPFrules
Manlet cope
>Nooo it's the same for every weight/height
tall lanky homosexual here, how does one get better at pull ups?
>tall lanky homosexual here, how does one get better at pull ups?
easy, if you are a tall heavy mother fricker you need to start by doing Australian pull ups, eventually you will be able to do a couple of pull ups, once you can do a couple it's simple progression...
>Google Australian pull ups

I assume it's just a pull up with your legs resting on the ground and the death trap with the chairs and a bar are optional.
its a reverse pushup, use rings hanging off a pullup bar or something
It's more like a bodyweight horizontal row. These are best done in the squat rack in your gym.
Put the bar on the squat rack pegs and go nuts
I’m a manlet and deadlifts are as easy as pull ups, it’s the best of both worlds
>Bro i can do pull ups
>What do you mean how much i can lift didn't you hear I CAN DO PULL UPS
Too bad you can't do either.
Imagine you are about to fall to your death and you are not able to pull yourself up. Embarrasing, all those years in the gym and you cant lift your body
The Virgin "Pulls Self Up To Safety" vs the Chad "Squat Ass Leaves Massive Crater Killing Dozens"
whats the best pull up grip width if i just want to grow my lats? i cant seem to feel then on close grip, neutral, wide etc i want big lats c**t
>saw one of those soviet carpet cleaning bars outside
>decided to try a pull up
>I failed, I couldn't even get close
I'm not gonna make it bros.
because lifting weights is easy but controlling your diet is hard in today's society
anyone can go into the gym and bust their ass and try to lift as heavy as possible for a few hours a week, not being a fatass takes 24/7 mindfullness and commitment to making good dietary choices
