The low glycemic index carbs are arguably some of the best part as well. Carbs, protein, healthy fats, and potassium are why I drink milk all the time. My only source of potassium.

You're both absolute morons. Both have plenty of nutrients, and denying one or the other is stupid as frick. You're both trying to push your narrative for no reason other than you simply don't want to consume the other, not because of any evidence or facts. You don't want to eat/drink the other and you scoured the internet to find tidbits that sort of lined up with your agenda.

Except there absolutely is evidence that vegetables are shit food, we didn't evolve eating them and they're actively toxic to our systems. Now they're even sprayed with pesticides and herbicides which are incredibly dangerous to our health and do not wash off. Not eating vegetables and grains is one of the healthiest and easiest modifications everyone should make to their modern diets.

But also, yes, I'd say that avoiding spinach can do someone a lot of good, since the high oxalic acid content of spinach causes kidney stones. Not to mention the fact that if you ate 55 lbs of raw spinach at once you would die of oxalate poisoning.

All seeds have some type of poison, to protect them from being eaten. This includes, but is not limited to: Tannins, lectins, cyanide, ricin, phytoestrogens, protease inhibitors, and solanine.
There isn't a single seed I can think of that doesn't have some type of chemical defense mechanism. You REALLY shouldn't eat them.

An excellent point, I'm glad you brought it up. Animals can defend themselves by running away or fighting back. Most of the herd would run. Maybe a few males would want to fight.
Plants, however, use poison to defend themselves. The highest concentrations of poisons are found in the seeds, which plants REALLY don't want you to eat, aside from some seeds within specific fruits that are benign when swallowed whole.

Not him, but milk and dairy in general is actually terrible for osteoporosis.

When it's pasteurized, the enzymes that allow your body to utilize the calcium are destroyed. Then the high phosphorus content with no antagonist actually robs calcium from the teeth and bones. Causes osteoporosis and arthritis.

Of course, unpasteurized milk doesn't have this problem but you live in a israeli nightmare state which has banned it for 99% of the population. Good goy.

              Keep drinking your pus-blood slop.

it's because there is too many Phosphorus (P) in milk.
To absorb Calcium(Ca) you need a Ca:P ratio of roughly 2:1 (i.e. 1:0.5) The actual ratio is 1:4-1:5 so the result is that P binds Ca and forms something which is not absorbed well by the body. Supposedly there are studies that show 0 benefit of drinking milk for osteoporosis. I've never checked it myself, but it makes sense.

For the record I drink probably 3l of milk/ week because that's the way I like to take protein shake (hate to open this can of worms, but they are convenient when all you have is worse garbage to choose from)
And there are plenty of other positive (and slightly negative) effects of drinking milk.

The fact that the fricking moron in that post included that in their post makes me think they're either moronic or a bot. I'm leaning toward the latter. I'm not going to bother going through dozens of bullshit links so again I ask you to send me ONE (1) study that proves saturated fat is harmful for humans. If you can't produce 1 good study of your own choosing then your claim has no merit.

The entire animal kingdom runs on saturated fats, including herbivores like cows and gorillas. They don't break down cellulose. The bacteria in their intestines do it for them. What the herbivores get out of the process is mostly saturated fat with some protein.

                >nonsensical arguments about cows and gorillas eating grass
How is it nonsensical? The point was that it's not just carnivores that run on saturated fat. It's ALL animal species. And yet, when each species eats their species-appropriate diet, they don't get heart disease.

You haven't made any point except that cows and gorillas digest and assimilate fatty acids from grass.

Humans, on the other hand, develop heart disease from excessive saturated fat intake.

We do not (nor does any other species). There's not even a correlation between saturated fat intake and heart disease, let alone a causal relationship.

This study highlights the complexity of the relationship between different dairy foods and cardiovascular diseases as well as their risk factors. Altogether, the results indicate that the association of dairy intake with cardiovascular risk is largely driven by the food type (i.e., cheese, yogurt, milk). These findings may inform dietary recommendations for CVD prevention by allowing healthy people with normal plasma cholesterol levels a more liberal consumption of up to 200 g/day of total dairy foods (including milk, cheese, and yogurt), irrespective of being full or low fat. Within this amount of consumption, fermented dairy should be preferred (i.e., one generous serving/day of yogurt or three small servings/week of cheese).

                https://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/article?id=10.1371/journal.pmed.1003763

In a meta-analysis of 18 observational studies including our new cohort study, higher levels of 15:0 and 17:0 were associated with lower CVD risk

15:0 and 17:0 are biomarkers for dairy fat

Ah, then we're in agreement. Less than 15 minutes a day, and that was in the late 70's. If they could use some of the homosexuals here for it they'd have that milk sucked out in under a minute.

Mostly saturated, which there is no requirement for
      >vitamin D
Added to prevent rickets. Its not actually abundant in milk

it's clear we're not supposed to drink, a majority of the population can't even process it without shitting their brains out. imagine drinking liquid meant for another animal, literally gives me the ick

There are several varieties of browns that can drink milk, but fresh dairy consumption as an economy is something that needs artificial refrigeration to really be safe above a certain average temperature, so it doesn’t tend to be common south of a certain point (somewhere around Northern Italy), which also usually corresponds with light skin. Most of the brown skinned fresh dairy consuming cultures are from high altitude regions.

People with lactase permanence didn’t evolve it and then drink milk, lactase permanence was a beneficial mutation that was then selected for because they were already drinking milk and eating lots of dairy. To this day, milk is a huge part of the diets of many cultures where lactase permanence isn’t a thing, like the Mongolians. If you don’t have lactase permanence, Milk is only a problem if you go from not drinking any to drinking a large amount, or if you nuke your microbiome. Your microbiome (and the microbe cultures used for yogurt and cheese making) will let you drink milk and eat dairy products even if you lack lactase permanence, so long as it is a consistent part of your daily diet.

There are literally no drawbacks to a dairy heavy diet that aren’t caused as part of an interaction with other less nutritious foods or bad lifestyle choices.

Milk (full fat) is a decent enough dessert drink, it's not too sugary or unhealthy to frick you over, and it has good enough nutrient content to be worth drinking.
Kefir, however, is 100% better for nutrition and should be part of everyone's diet.

Anyone here successfully restored their lactose tolerance?
I drank a pint a day for most of my life, then stopped for a few years, and now too much dairy makes me bloated and gives me the shits
