Get up and move about. Try not to stay lay or sat for extended periods of time.

You're not actually incapable, you're just inhibited by pain. Disinhibit yourself to an aspirin or something and go from there.

Do not take painkillers unecersarily. Enjoy the DOMs, you e earned them by doing something.

The only time that I go on 30km hikes is when I get insanely drunk (1 case of beer, 1L of whisky, etc) and then go on a forest hike that last for hours while it is pitch black outside. This is in Australia too. The day after, my legs kill because I am fat so my poor legs have to support all of that weight.

Just rest. You did more than you were prepared for. Enjoy the peaceful day, you have a worthwhile excuse.

Just rest, maybe eat some extra protein and carbs to aid with recovery. Massaging tight muscles in a hot shower can be nice.

There's no instant fix for soreness, your body just takes time to recover.

Anyway, you want blood to flow through your legs. Move them, massage them, take a warm shower etc. Walking about is usually the best remedy.

Here is the mountain I climbed, it is not a hill, its a full on mountain, the first picture I posted you can't see the mountain because I'm on top of it.

        >Geologists and the Oxford English Dictionary report that a mountain is at least 2,000 feet (or 610 meters) above sea level, while the government of the UK Government defines a mountain as having an elevation above 600 meters (1,969 ft).
