I have a wood furnace made of bricks and a methane one for hot showers and floor heating. The latter is 90% metal and in a closet though, should be pretty good when it comes to airborne plastics, no?
Most microplastics you are exposed to are airborn. Some recent study found the highest concentration of plastics was in the lungs. Your biggest source of those airborne plastics is synthetic fibers. Pic related is probably the biggest source in your own home
I think synthetic fibers are the biggest source for pollution but for humans its microplastics from car tires, if you drive a lot you are breathing in tires every time, especially on a busy road in a city like a highway.
a farmer CAN become strong assuming he can make food at a cheaper rate than that of the market and assuming he keeps going to the gym. Otherwise no, the idea of being strong because you're a farmer is as stupid as saying that you're an superhacker silk road pirate because you study about computers.
Reddit thinks the average farmer can btfo everyone else because they had a grandpa that was tough.
Farmers aren't strong. They are at best a little stronger than average and have good endurance for working all day, plus they've learned how best to handle the loads they deal with every fricking day of their lives.
farmers are stronger than non-farmers on average.
it's pure probability dude, you're coping otherwise.
>be dude who does work all day involving physical labor >some homosexual on a chinese bee keeping forum says you're weaker than the 99.99% of humanity that doesn't do regular physical labor
farmers are stronger than non-farmers on average.

Used to be a farmer. I spent years digging boulders out of the frozen ground using iron railroad track prybars because I couldn't afford the right equipment. By the end of my career I was lifting 600lb tractor tires and walking 15 miles a day.
The pay was shit but I was the most fit I've ever been in my life. Felt amazing.
redditors who've never touched a weight in their lives go on about "farmer strength" or "old man strength" and claim somebody who works out at a gym would be weaker than a fat boomer. neither concept actually exists of course.
>lift weights for a few minutes every day >haha i'm stronger than someone who uses their arms for 8 hours every day
jesus christ kid the autism, no wonder you fricking zoomers aren't getting pussy.
lmao, you actually think farmers are out there tilling the fields by hand or some shit. they're diabetic fatasses driving tractors you moron, I live in a fricking farm town and see dozens of farmers every day. sit the frick down boy.
I believe that over you even lifting daily fat boy.
You're the one posting on IST just like everyone else here. Your ~~*strength*~~ might as well be that of a fricking woman.
You are still thinking of farming like its the 1800's or a 3rd world country. Farming and agriculture has been more and more industrialized since the 1900's when the tractor was invented. In the 1960's farm jobs were around 4.4% of all US jobs. As of 2020's it's around 1.3%. So less than 1/3 of the amount of farmers are now feeding twice as many people thanks to factory farming, machinery, pesticides, gmos, and industrialization. Farming is mainly about operating heavy machinery now, not doing back breaking labor like tilling a field by hand or harvesting wheat with a scythe.
I go to farmers markets all the time and they all look very dyel. Basically like an arts market vendor but less hippy.
Ive been to dairy farms and all the farmers look like they drink beer every night.
I have never saw a farmer that looks like they are healthy in general, its always fat or skelly.
The only types of people I see that are fit are people who work with horses but I don't think these people are farmers
drinking sounds like a good way to cope with the fact you're running a dairy farm. that business would make me do all kinds of drugs too.

Guy I used to work with grew up on a dairy farm. His dad was constantly trying to get him to come back to the farm, offered him 200,000 a year to come back to the farm. Co-worker always turned him down to stay at his 60,000 a year job. I don't blame him either, some of the stories he had about dairy farming were disturbing to say the least. And yes, this co-worker was fat and alcoholic.

No it is only fitness, no one here is striving for health. Die young and make a pretty corpse, homosexual. What are you going to do at 80 anyway? Stare at the wall and wish someone young would acknowledge you exist like an /LULZ/ Black person hoping for a crumb of pussy?
I thought this was a tapeworm
I thought it was salami
I thought it was sushi
i thought it was an artificial garloid
I have a water filter, you pipe-Black person
That's ac ducting anon
What does that have to do with my water filter, you ac duct-Black person?
your a/c is pumping microplastics into your room as you read this
I don't have ac because I live in the mountains
How about a furnace?
I have a wood furnace made of bricks and a methane one for hot showers and floor heating. The latter is 90% metal and in a closet though, should be pretty good when it comes to airborne plastics, no?
Probably fine. Maybe.

Wouldn't you therefore be inhaling exponentially more from walking near cars compared to driving in one?
When you drive behind another car you are right in its windstream meaning all the pollution is headed right to you and gets sucked into your car.
That's why cars have a cabin air filter
That's why its microplastics, they go through the air filter. It's an unfathomably fine particulate.
>It's an unfathomably fine particulate
why are you posting about your penis size?
cuz ur lungs are full of my dick m8
> plastic cabin air filters blast additional microplastics into your lungs
>you worry too much anon, stop being so anxious
>but also the carpets in your house are literally killing you
how do i cope with modern society
Jokes on you, i farm my food.
hey, thats literally me!
Do people actually believe farmers are strong?

They talk shit about farmers because farmers aren't here to defend themselves.
Yes that is a real picture
See

Farmers have farmer strength. It’s like dad strength. Their bodies say they shouldn’t have it, but they do.

What's wrong with a dairy farm?
What exactly do you think modern farmers do? 99% of their labor is done using power equipment or from the seat of a truck.
“i know little of the darkroot garden…”
GOOD MORNING, SIR
Microplastics are harmless
They lower testosterone and increase estrogen
>he's beat up by microBlack folk
ngmi
Microplastics are for little b***hes. I only eat macroplastics
What does insulated ducting have to do with fitness?
And make a good abominations thread for once.
>health and fitness
>health
Do you think there's no
health implications of a vast majority of American homes using plastic tubes for air conditioning?
The board hasnt been healthy and fitness for many years now, m8

still be benching more than you
fitness is defined by ability to successfully reproduce by having a healthy body.
anything that involves reproductive health belongs on IST.
Don't worry about it, homo, I'll not eat whatever I feel like
uhm ackshually its asbestos and fibreglass
Why is there so much BBC spam on IST? Everythread is about something long and black these days
It's peak china/india hours
Any pipe will soon be covered in calcium and other miberals. So it kinda doesn't matter, unless it's lead can still can get into water.
