Havent been in the country for like 2 years now but back then it was just about being strategic when doing your groceries and accepting that you will be hard pressed to maintain a bw above 200lbs. Additionally the gym is stupid expensive over there as well, recall paying over 60usd a month for a very shit gym. Make sure you budget your shit correctly.
Even as someone from the upper class food started becoming incredibly expensive, it was pretty shit to be honest.
Best advise I can give you is to be born from parents with European heritage and use your euro passport to migrate as I did. Venezuela is an irredeemable shithole, id say carpet bombing the entire country and starting over may be the only way to go, and I say that as someone who's ancestors literally founded the country.
