Ok I think I can chime in on this as someone who lives in Australia and also has an "ethnic" background like Zyzz
There is this cultural thing here in Australia with ethnic people where if something happens to a family member and they die, they tend to be very vague about the circumstances, or make something up.
Like if someone dies from drug overdose because they're secretly a drug addict, the family will either say
>Oh yes anon died suddenly we have no idea
or
Lets say the drug they were taking fricked up a specific organ at first and thats what eventually fails and kills them, the family will say something like
>oh yes, anon died because he had something wrong with their [insert organ]
Whats weird is that ethnic people here in Australia seem to do this even if the person had a legitimate condition, like they're ashamed to say someone in their family dies from cancer or some shit.
IDK there is this "privacy" thing with ethnic people in Australia when it comes to Health/Death, and Zyzz's family is part of that generation that does it, I notice this from ethnics who came to Australia between the 1960s and 1990s. Ethnic people who came to Australia from that time period seem to be really weird about health/death.
