As far as I know the "best" strategy to bulk is a surplus of 300-500kcal, but jesus, this guy went full Goliath mode with a dirty bulk and even before the cut it looked insane, let alone after.

The problem with dirty bulking is that you're going to have to cut for a longer period of time and cutting sucks. I recommend clean bulking with a smaller surplus.

Unless you have a rocket fast metabolism or take gear, lean bulks are the way to go. Slow and steady gains with only minimal cutting required.

go on fasting a couple times and eat clean. I can lose 10 lbs in a couple days. Unless you gotta cut away over 50 lbs I dont really get whats you problem and if you put on over 50lbs dirty weight then you have no concerns for your health and skin anyway.
cutting 20-30 lbs can be done safely in a couple weeks at worst.

Yes, I'd say my bulk is going well so far.
I do about 5000 a day and have for months and I'm not that fat. 230/5'11". It's reasonable if you're lifting heavy. I also eat pretty clean, only rice/milk/chicken/broccoli.
