I boulder twice a week and do some accessory lifts once a week. Personally I find weightlifting super boring so I only do it to help with my climbing, and because I can't climb more without getting tendon issues.
We're in the same boat. After lifting on and off for four years, it get's fricking boring.
Rock climbing, as you used for an example, is basically doing a bunch of fricking pull-ups on weird surfaces, so we'll call it lifting, homosexual.

I work at a climbing centre and no it’s absolutely not right at all. All climbers are dyels. I can smash routes but I can do like 5 pull-ups lol. The ones who can do a lot of pullups are tiny twinks

Probably less, since it's hard to get injured when you fall.

Yes, but I've only seen it happen once in 3 years. Dude's foot slipped, and he didn't correct his legs mid-air, so he ended up tearing his ACL.
You'll practically always feel yourself peeling off the wall before you ever slip uncontrolled, and can prepare to land accordingly. By the time you're doing huge dynamic moves that have a higher chance causing an uncontrolled fall, you'll have been climbing long enough that not falling like a moron is second nature.

I used to surf when I was a kid and that is a total body workout. Stopped for about a decade but I'm now living in a place that has a beach close by so I'm going to start again doing dawn patrol before work.
Surfing is great. I go surfing and I'm in such a cheerful mood for the next 3 days. Like, other people notice and comment on it.
I can only kiteboard now. It's also fun, but more expensive and more dangerous.
