A couple months out of the year i do that, yeah. It's important to just wing it sometimes so you can approach programming without any of the fatigue that comes with being constantly meticulous about the numbers and schedule.
i just drink a protein shake , try to eat meals with protein in it too. im not going crazy with diet shit. people obsessed with food are all weirdos who have watched too many youtube fitness diet videos and they need to shut the fuck up.
the new nutjob craze i see on here is raw milk. like really? you fucking people are like california soccer moms
I pretty much eat what I want, but I do track it and supplement whey at the end of the day if I need more protein. I only track calories and protein intake and have seen really nice gains. It's that easy.
"Hoping for the best" really doesn't seem like you're setting yourself up for success. You do you but I'd rather not waste my time and effort
I used to calorie count for weight loss before realizing I didn't wanna be a twig, and now I just eat whatever with decent progress across the 2 years of lifting I did.
no but I don't have a problem with counting until it comes cutting time. this is the 3rd time I've binged just merely thinking of planning on cutting. granted I lost over 250 pounds so my brain remembers
I look pregnant rn cause this is like day 3 of 5k, I literally don't care, I'm just riding it out cause I know I know better and I really just need to fuck off with dieting, it's been a long road and I'm almost at the end of it starting May (hence the binging probably)
I did 16/8 with a 36 on sunday all at 1800cals from 465>310 and it didn't do much. I'm just getting to 195 and chopping it and I'll be like 175 after it's said and done, so like 12% bf.
I eat what I want but I do cardio 4 times a week. Counting calories and dieting is the last thing on the planet I want to do. Normal people who play sports and do cardio stay leanish year round without being autists about their diet. It's only in the online bodybuilding community where people think you have to track everything to not be a slob.
I eat whatever because I work an active job + go the gym and fast food is a really easy and convenient way to get in the raw calories. Simply don't have the time, energy or will to eat clean all the time.
>cut
feel atleast a little hungry all day >bulk
feel full all day >both
eat almost exclusively meat with a little bit of carbs (rice, potatoes, fruits)
good enough if you train hard and have realistic expectations
Here's my absolute best advise. From what I've learn there are a few steps to making yourself genuinely happy with diet. >Step 1 hit your protein needs
Just figure it out. Learn how to eyeball this with chicken, fish beef etc.
I also highly recommend counting calories at this time to just learn to eyeball things going forwards >Step 2 cut out all processed shit and sugar
Do this and eat whole foods. You need to reset your expectations and learn what foods you can just eat forever without descending into cravings. >Step 3 anything you miss eating try adding back into this diet **only add 1 thing in a time.
Then you need to evaluate do you feel okay adding it back in? Is it worth it.
There are many cheat foods I honestly never crave anymore because I just don't enjoy them enough for how they make me feel. >Step 4 you should have it all come together. As long as you hit that protein you can keep hitting gym.
Keep diet consistent and have occasional treats that don't fuck you up
Yeah, I tracked when I first started lifting and gained a ton of weight, something like 40lbs or so (150-155ish to 190lb). I still gain like 5lbs a year not tracking, I can't afford another giga bulk like my first year of lifting
I pretty much only have one rule and that’s no highly processed, sugary shit (soda candy cakes whatever). Some days eat a ton some days eat not much. Works fine
hyperaccurate calorie counting is a meme. Eat according to how you feel you need to for whatever for a week, check weight progression and adjust accordingly. Only thing you need to track is protein tbh
No, I eat very clean. I’m staying under 50g of fat per day while eating 2500-3000 calories. I don’t count anymore, I just eat shit ton of low-fat, high carb, high protein foods. Lots of fruit and dairy. I recently got stretch marks on shoulders and my abs are starting to show so go figure.
I’ll have occasional pizza or kebab on the weekend when I’m with friends and don’t have kitchen at hand.
I build muscle while very slowly burning fat or at the very least not gaining any. I only started lifting a year ago and I was fucking around on 1700kcal for first half year so I’m still new to lifting.
i dont know who she is but I can tell from the picture that she owes me sex.

yes. min maxing stresses me out too much. but its not like i eat garbage all of the time.
Can I do calisthenics and not eat that much and expect a lean muscular body

I like to make sure I eat slightly under maintenance and get enough protein in

raw milk it tasty, but too expensive
Kinda but I do watch my kcal count for when I bulk/cut

Damn, if you would of fasted that away you wouldn’t have all that extra skin.

is it effective? i managed to bulk up after having a hard time eating for years but all the fat went to my stomach i just want abs man
Yes a lot of people in here are fat weak fucks who hope that just existing on a fitness forum will somehow make them fit.
I eat whatever because I work an active job + go the gym and fast food is a really easy and convenient way to get in the raw calories. Simply don't have the time, energy or will to eat clean all the time.
Yes. I have plateaued at 94kg 🙁
I don't eat eat whatever , don't workout but hope for the best

Peak female genetics.
cute girl
I don't workout at all and eat whatever and also hope for the best.
No I follow a diet and training plan because I want to make it.

Yes. But now I aim to loose 10kg wanting to become more lean.

Yes. But for me, "whatever" usually ends up being pretty healthy food eaten in reasonable portions.
I only check protein intake is about 1.5gr on kg or higher.

So what are the results? Do you preserve muscles while loosing fat?
I build muscle while very slowly burning fat or at the very least not gaining any. I only started lifting a year ago and I was fucking around on 1700kcal for first half year so I’m still new to lifting.
