My boyfriend gives me a facial pretty regularly
if you know what I mean 😉
Is it for hydration?
I mean, lots of it gets in my mouth UwU
I meant is it for moisturization of the skin or has other benefits on skin?
It makes me feel like prostitute
>exfoliator occasionally to remove dead skin
>cleansers to clear paws
>retinol and retinoids are proven to boost elastin in skin and remove wrinkles and fine lines
>moisturiser helps stop skin from looking dry, also a layer of protection against pollutants
>sunscreen to stops UVB rays that cause aging
That's mine.
>Nine randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled clinical trials were found. Four of these trials reported no statistically significant differences between the retinol-containing treatment and vehicle. The remaining five trials provide weak evidence for retinol potentially having a mild ameliorating effect on fine facial skin wrinkle lines only. However, these five trials showed major methodological flaws, which were critically analyzed in this review, calling into question the validity of any positive results.
I can't imagine anything more feminine than believing in skin care.
Cleanser and moisturizer seem like the only things that work tbh. Sun screen also has its uses, but shouldn't be utilized everyday. It's like gym supplements. All you really need is protein powder, a multivitamin, creatine, and omega D3 - everything else is optional.
Im using a dermaroller
Do those actually work?
I've been thinking about getting one..
i got a dermapen from Amazon for around 50 euros, reusing dermarollers is too unhygienic and buying a new one is not any cheaper than using a derma pen
AM: moisturizer
PM: tret + moisturizer
Give me the rundown on Tretinoin. I just looked it up and see that's it's a synthetic and stronger alternative to retinol.
Fricks up your liver, makes your skin thinner and weaker with prolonged use. Don’t use without a prescription because the doctor will also require you to get your enzymes checked every 6 months or so
This is a lie. It increases the cell turn over as well as collagen production, the dermal layer of your skin gets thicker but you lose some of the “protective dead” layer of keratinized cells on top. There’s also no evidence of it going systemic and no doctor makes you check your enzymes for topical. You might be getting it mixed up with steroid creams and/or accuraine (oral form). It’s also not new at all it’s been used for decades and is very well studied.

Literally nothing you said was true
Source: it is known
Everything I said was completely accurate and easily verifiable

I haven’t seen convincing evidence that chemical sunscreens have any real systemic effects. Mineral sunscreens are theoretically safer but kind of a pain in the ass. The best method is probably a combination of both- I use a Japanese sunscreen called skin aqua uv super moisture milk (blue bottle) gives great protection and dries clear.
>I use a Japanese sunscreen called skin aqua uv super moisture milk (blue bottle)
Same but it's a bit expensive for how little you get...
>a supposed doctor is using a blog post of a dermatologist whose primary revenue stream is patients as a source
Kys my man
How does it feel to be a sociopath?
What is your opinion on mineral vs chemical sunscreen?
So use it short-term or sporadically?
No sunscreen?
I have exactly the same routine and no sunscreen because I'm a neet
is there any proof moisturized does jack shit? I use tret and my skin is perfect, I doubt it will age any more without moisturizing (I do when le skin is dry from tret couple mornings a week)
My local public service did a pretty big thing on skin care a few years ago. They had people using various products on half their faces for a number of weeks and then did some tests/scans whatever and had them evaluated by medical professionals. The only thing that actually seemed to have any effect whatsoever was Nivea's basic moisturizer. Everything else is essentially snake oil.
moisturiser literally just prevents your skin drying out.
keeping it softer, more supple and less prone to inflammation/irritation.
its not complex
Yup. And the other garbage can't even manage that.
>is there any proof moisturized does jack shit?
yes
cover yourself in oil
I can't get tret in my shitholr of a country. What now?
buy it from another country, even online
Retinol does the same exact shit as tret
What about vitamin c? Do IST use?
I put vitamin C it is essential in face care routine
No it is not I hate vitamin C on face
literally eat butter and other healthy animal fats,
skin care comes from the inside, not the outside
keep the skin flora healthy and alive,
>like don't put alcohol based products and never ever apply sunscreen that contains metals
use simple soaps, with the fewest ingredients, olive oil soap works best
What is tret and why are you Black folk spamming it like it's the next big thing?
"Tretonin"
Treto-what now?
It's a steroid that makes people horny and frick fat women.
Will it stress my liver or kidneys?
i laughed
It’s something new for people looking for more/stronger than a benzoyl peroxide mask
Water
Healthy diet
Sleepmaxxing
Sunminning
>Sunminning
Does anyone know why so many people deliberately try to get a tan?
It's a status symbol in Northern europe because it shows you can afford to travel.
Being on the sun produces serotonin, literally make's you feel good. It also generates massive amounts of vitamin D, and being tan is aesthetic.
anyone know the name of that Japanese am moisturizer with spf? I remember someone saying it was great but I forget the name
think you can buy it on amazon
Is it worth to even care about my body skin when I'm hairy? I have patches of hair on my back and shoulders, and my chest and belly have an hourglass shaped carpet.
All this guy needs is one little push to disrupt his autism routine to make him crumble.
lmao, imagine eating before your morning run
also lmao, imagine eating that many carbohydrates for breakfast.
ewww
You can't argue with results.

what a dumb Black person

Aloe Vera lotion
>Aloe Vera
Is there an option if you are allergic to aloe?
He looks so uncanny and cursed.
Narrowed his hips, widened his shoulders, shortened his arms, thickened his upper arms and reduced his pecks and slightly increased his cranium.
>He looks so uncanny and cursed.
Nah, just the pecs are too big.
least dysmorphic ISTizen
I stopped using products on my face years ago. My skin looks and feels better then ever.
Kys moxyte
>no one saying mineral sunscreen
Chemical instead
I'm so conflicted on obliques bros. I think they look ugly as frick, but I think girls like them.
Have you ever seen a homosexual with bad skin?
yes in third world countries
What are you implying anon
Yes, most homosexuals look like they already have aids, and most are dysgenic looking to begin with hence the pursuit of other men who can't attract and keep women.
